Honest Review

Remarks :

The place where College is loacted is quite isolated. College is located in a village type area and also quite far from the railway station. Very less shops are available near or around college. Apart from this the college is good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Syllabus is getting older as new technologies are discovered. The exam structure is ver simple or similar to other courses I.e (each year there are two semester exams and 4 mid sem exams. One should have not fail in more than 4 subjects to proceed for next year)

Placement Experience :

Less opportunities for placement. Very less companies come for placement. Every companies are interested more in IT department. They recruit other branches student to IT department and students have no option other than that (then what is the benefit or outcome of your course if you are going in a different field)

College Events :

Every year college fest is organised and also during some traditional festivals programs are organised. Fest includes: Dance Singing Technical activities Sports (khokho, kabbadi, cricket, football, badminton, etc) And various other small activities. Prices are also distributed after all.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. The fees is same as most of the colleges. It includes: Tution fees Stationery fees Exam fees Activity fees Extracurricular activities fees Travel fees ( As college is far from railway station buses are provided by college from station to college and vice-versa) Etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

EBC - Provided by government for people with economically backward. It is very good for economically backward class people's or people with low annual income. If your annual income is below 6 lacs then you can avail this scholarship. You just have to fill the online form and submit and get it verified by the college.

Campus Life :

Labs are good. Workshops are also well organised. Gender ratio : Very less females compared to males (1/10) Sports : Sports competition are organised durind the college festival. Also college have a good playground on which you can play during your free lectures or free time.

Hostel Facilities :

No. No hostel is there.

Alumni/Alumna :

The Alumni network is strong here as there are many ex-students groups available. And also some of the faculties co-operate well with ex students and guide them. Few of ex-students I know are doing good and keep sharing their experience with me.

Admission :

Admitted through the government CAP. Every year there is admission process by government. On which various colleges are listed. Students have to fill the form and select the wished college in which they want to study and they get admission according to their percentage and the cut-off of the corresponding college. I had went to the same admission procedure above and no interview was there and after my 10th class I was interested in this course.

Faculty :

Some are good like they actually want to teach the upcoming generation and some are like they are coming for only their salary (not all 1 or 2 of them) Or else the faculties are good. Faculties are with good experience and good field knowledge and teach well related to the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Placement Experience:

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.
