Remarks

It's a very good college. All the things are managed quite well here.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course is architecture. And it's one of the toughest courses in the world. So according to me it is very hectic if you want to your enjoy your college life do not opt for architecture. It is nothing like you've experienced before. It requires a lot of patience

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement in architecture is quite a dream for any college in india. But they do provide a lot of internships to help us get a job later after graduation. Aslo the teacher here have their own firm. So they select the bright students themselves and hire them in their companies. As a kick start.the Engineering department has an average package of 10 lpa. And the highest is 70 lpa till date.

College Events

2.5

We celebrate all the festivals here including diwali, ganesh chaturvedi, Christmas, holi, and all major festivals apart from that we have our cultural fests every even semesters and that's a lot of fun. They hold a lot of competitions and stuff in various fields. Then we have zonasa and then inter college competitions. Sports competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is diff for people coming from diff modes of entrance. For cet it's just 60 thousand per year and for people coming through comedk it's around 1,84,000 and for people through management quota they have to give donations and they yearly fee is around 3-6 lakhs. Based in their Mark's.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any as such. But if you want to you just have to take a certificate and submit the bank details that's it.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very diverse and amazing. Specially the infrastructure. We have various sports clubs and a student activity centre in the campus. There a lot of competitions held at various levels.the gender ratio in my stream is 50:50 and overall the college is amazing.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, if you have to apply for hostel do it asap. Because the seats are limited. And the hostel is very good compared to other colleges. Specially hygiene wise. They clean the washroom every day. And it's very secured. 4 people have to share one room.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. Specially the senior batches, they are ready for help no matter what and the alumni visits the campus quite often and are open to questions.

Admission

I got admission here through comedk. You have to give this entrance test and based on this you'll get your ranks. After the ranks are distributed. You have to visit the counseling centre of comedk and select available colleges and courses based on your rank. After this you have to submit the 55k demand draft and you will get admission letter of that particular college.

Faculty

5

The faculty is really knowledgeable and experienced. In terms of knowledge they will guide you to really well provided you show some determination towards the subject and towards learning. The only thing is they may seem a bit partial towards south Indian students when compared with north Indians. So that is there.

Placement Experience:

Architecture is completely a solo thinking work we can work in groups as well but if a structure is designed by a single architect then it has a taste of that particular person but if its a group then all will be mixed and have different kind of brains giving different ideas soo an individual can manage even if he doesnt get a placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews, external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

Placement Experience:

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)
