Course Curriculum Overview :

There will be 3 internals, 2 of them through online platform and 1 will be model of the semester end exam. Bachelor of social work is a good course and it has great relevance in today's society. The duration of the course is 3 years Job opportunity of the course is very diverse

Placement Experience :

Yes, Marian gave focus to placement of students. Marian has its own placement cell and it is linked with intershala. For placements they provide special trainings, also give classes for personality session.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Merit quota-5000 per semester Self financing-18000 per semester The additional fees is only exam fees. For admission purpose we have to pay rupees 500 through online.The exam fees are also collected through online. No other fees is collecting for any of the purpose.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes Marian college has scholarship for students from weaker background and also provide scholarship for Students who acquired good marks

Campus Life :

Marian has very good campus and the ambiance of the college is also good. Marian give importance to Gender equality. There are more female students than males. PG students is less than UG students. Marian has gender champion programme and it has separate wing in the college. Childline also working inside the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, Marian has good hostel facilities. Very clean and food is good compared to other hostels. Neat rooms and five students will be in each room. These hostels are run by nuns and priests. Marian has 3girls hostel.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

We had best alumins, the college is completely ragging free and the seniors are very friendly. On the first semester they help us to appear exams.

•College has an active placement cell that does everything in their ability to provide maximum number of placement for students. It doesn't guarantee placement, but try to increase the odds of it. •Placement training is given to students regularly •A good number of students do get placements each year.

Christ college irinjalakuda: A hub of Excellency and Opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview:

BSW provides me with such an opportunity. However, the teachers sometimes lag the portions making it difficult towards the end-semester exams. The course helps you face the real world by entering field work which is a part of my curriculum that helps me build my confidence while dealing with clients.

Placement Experience:

In the third year, students become eligible for placements (my degree was a three year degree, it might be different when it becomes a four year degree). Interested students are given training for interviews, GDs and job selection processes by the placement cell in the college. I had not applied for placement, so I don't know the details of the salary package.

Social work UG in Marian

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum deals with the basic knowledge of Social work. The course deals with basics like the introduction to social work , psychology, sociology and all. There is also field work in each semester which will be sent from the college itself to different agencies. The faculties can be only rated average as there is no experienced faculties. The exams are conducted semester wise and internals twice in each semester.
