Remarks :

My college is great as it allows all facilities that can be asked. It has 0 ragging tolerance and hires the most professional people to teach us.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course opted is very relevant as it allows to get a true insight into the current world. The internship cell allows us to do Internship during breaks giving us a ground experience of the area. A good combination of knowledge as well as experience trains us for the requirements in this modern world.

Placement Experience :

The college has 2 placement cells, each doing their best to train the students. They also keep tabs with a lot of companies to allow internships. This year, we had E&Y, KPMG, airtel, Zomato and other top companies. Almost all dedicated students get selected.

College Events :

There are many fests ranging from science to commerce fests, from literature fests to Mecca, the biggest fest in DU. Each fest holds a variety of competitions with attractive prizes and knowledge sessions. The fests have many games which the participants can play and relieve their stress

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is very marginal, i.e. only ?18500 p.a. There are no other charges whatsoever. The college does provide a complete breakup of the fee structure. It also provides concessional fees to disabled and economically weaker children. The hostel fees is around ?6000 per annum. Only online mode of payment is accepted.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college does not offer scholarship as the college already provides concessional fees to the economically weaker children. However a student can apply to principal ma'am for additional information and scholarship.

Campus Life :

The college has a pretty decent gender ratio. There are a lot of labs, and sports complex in college that provide equal opportunity to all students. There are a lot of college societies that do provide an opportunity to expand the knowledge skillset beyond the classroom at an individual level.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I haven't opted for hostel. However the hostel services in the college are great. They provide comfortable and clean beds. Each room is shared by 2 people. However the seats are limited which is offered based on area of residence and cut-off

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The college maintains an updated alumni register that keeps a tab on all alumni and their jobs. We often have alumni meets that allow us to interact with our seniors and gain useful knowledge from them

Admission :

Hindu college was the best college in north campus for persuing a course in commerce. Fortunately my cut off allowed me to get into it. B.com(H) is the most sought course for commerce students which is why I decided to go for it too. Any student who meets the cut off criteria can get admission by simply submitting his/her marksheet of class 10 and 12 along with a photocopy of a ID proof.

Faculty :

There are 10 lecturers in my college, each aged between 30-40 years. Each of them have atleast 5 years of experience and most of them have many research papers published in reputated magazines. All professors not only provide information within books but also quote real life problems to help us understand the subject better.

Life of A DU student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not very rigid as the time-table changes every semester. To me it seemed very flexible as I can pursue my CFA designation as well. I wont say that the curriculum prepares us for future pursuits as Delhi University offers a pretty old regime but have adopted the NEP policy from last year.

Lovely college

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 we are eligible for campus placement . There are a lot of companies visited like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, etc monthly salary is around 15-16k highest package is made around 8LPA for BBA . My college provide around 80% placement overall. My plans is to go for higher studies.

Experience of my college life-Gargi College

Placement Experience:

The placements of Gargi college are really nice. There is a placement cell in our college. From 3rd year 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. The average CTC was offered as Rs 5 LPA and 3.6 LPA for the previous session. The companies that visited our college are Ernst and young, KPMG, Smart cube and Genpact, S&p Capital IQ, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 50%. My plan after getting a degree is to prepare for my CAT exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of DSC is very active. You can start doing internships from your very first year. Internships go on during the whole year. Placements are usually happening in the last or second last semester mainly for final year students. The main domain for which the recruitment drives are conducted are - Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and HR. The major companies that visit our campus are - KPMG, EY, GENPACT, JARO EDUCATION, WIRPO, and other companies with an average package of 3-3.5 lakhs, students do get nice offers from these companies. The highest package for the year 2020-21 was approximately near 5-6 LPA. There are a good number of students getting placements. Since I am planning for professional courses, I haven't sat for any placements but my friends do sit for the placements and as per the reviews, I can assure you that if you have the right amount of talent and zeal, you are not going to be graduate with empty hands.

Yes, campus interview is available for the student. These three types of option. The student who have above 75 percent Available top most pay company. 60 to 75 percent student average level pay. Company 45 to 60 percent student medium-range company. Those who have to fail marks the campus wasn't accepted.
