Remarks :

I want to say like it depends upon how you study. Once you make a mind set about any institution that it is bad then you don't want to go in it and study become hard for you but please realize it's not whole about the institution, some part is you. This university make you feel like a home, you will ask anything from any teacher and they help you like giving extra hours to understand.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Stem cell is the very new topic nowadays after biotechnology so ya it lead to many great researches ahead !! The opinion of the course is to made you a lab person and classes with lab are not so hectic once you get used to it.

Placement Experience :

Stem cell and tissue engineering course does not provide any placements but ya if you go for any company related to it, you got placed first than any other private institutions or college. Even I know alot of seniors and many of them have a salary above 35k.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As it is a masters in stem cells and tissue engineering so ofcourse, it should be expensive but not that much. 50 - 60, 000 per semester. It may be feasible for some and for some it don't but university provides many more subjects of life sciences in which you can study which suites Ur budget.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are scholarships present for defense person student's and also for economic weaker sections and also for SC st students. There is also a full refund of fees who got first in the class. Your department will tell you about scholarships accordingly.

Campus Life :

There are many extracurricular activities like we usually celebrate many fests, festivals. Our department usually introduce us to many speakers who uskyaly motivate us to be better as socially. There is a student centre in our university in which there are 3 to 4 events happen every week.

Hostel Facilities :

Its hard to get a hostel. your rank should be high in entrance exam. But according to hostel feel hostels are quiet good. Panjab university hostels charges 6k per sem which is ok but pgs outside there rents upto 5k per month without food.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, there is alumni meet last semester. So they help us to clear our vision as in what we want to do next as we want to do job or research, which helped us alot. One alumni was placed in paraxel company which is know as drug company, so students interested in job were keen to listen her as she tells that it is good to do job with such a good salary but you need to be dedicated.

Admission :

I got admission in this course by entrance test. I made decision to enter in this course as I want to researcher so it will lead to a great, bright future. The entrance is not so tough it's a basic refinery test which is based upon how thorough you have the knowledge of the subject.

Faculty :

As it is a university, the teachers are very well qualified. It's my luck I got admission in university campus, so ya we can't complaint about teachers as they have very thorough knowledge of their subject even they are very supportive.

Masters during Lockdown in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in campus placements from the third semester. There was a strict attendance policy which were to be followed by every student if they wanted to sit for placements. We received emails from the placement coordinators regarding all the opportunities coming our way and the details of the different roles offered by the companies. In my class, almost all the students were eligible to sit for the placements, and 70-80% of them got placed as well. Most of them are still working with those companies. The main demographic location from which the companies came were Chandigarh, Bangalore, Gurugram, Mohali.

Review about Chandigarh University

Admission:

As the crime rate is increasing day by day. So, in the future the scope of forensic science will also be on peak and I have a keen interest in forensic science. That is why I choose this course. The infrastructure and all the other facilities of this institution got attracted me. There is no entrance test for MSc Forensic Science. I have taken direct admission.

Placement Experience:

The department is doing their best to provide placements to their students. Students of forensic science department are placed in govt. As well as in private labs every year. The students gets also placed in other relevant fields.
