Remarks :
College management is like on which one cant comment that good. But the collaboration of some faculties, seniors and juniors plus the scenic beauty of this college will make you fall in love with it.
Entrance Preview :
JEE-MAIN was the entrance examination. I scored 125 marks in JEE-MAINS and scored 75627 AIR which resulted in my admission in the branch-Computer Science And Engineering of this college. The beautiful campus in hilly region, the placement scenario and since its govt. College were the reasons that i opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Although autonomous, the course however is followed from Uttarakhand Technical University . Curriculum is the same as that of other engineering colleges in uttarakhand. The faculty is however not that much good. You have to sustain on your own capabilities to progress and to gain extra skills and knowledge.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not joined any internship program as i am in 2nd year right now. But i have heard from my seniors that the internship is funded by TEQIP. and the college sometimes doesn't interfere in this matter and the student himself has to take care of his internship.
Placement Experience :
Placement and jobs are quite good in this campus. But being in hilly region is the biggest disadvantage of this college. Although it is capable of attracting big companies like ADOBE, HONDA ,HCL, TCS, Bajaj, Etc.Avg. Package given to software engineers is 4.2 LPA and to Mechanical 3 to 5 LPA. Year before the last year ADOBE hired 3 students with a package of 8.2 LPA which was highest in uttarakhand that year in comparison to the other UTU affiliated colleges.
College Events :
Normally evry event is celebrated in college including teachers day, etc. The "Safaai Abhiyaan" on 2nd october is celebrated every year. Apart from that College's Cultural Festival is "Goonj" and technical festival is "Spandan". The sports meet is called as" Josh". These festivals are celebrated every year with a huge participation of college students. Technical festivals i.e. SPANDAN also allows other college students to come and compete with each other and our college students. Also prize distributions include prizes like certificates, shopping and holiday vouchers and even cash prizes. Really a huge fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Being a state govt. College the fee structure is very feasable.If you get a GENERAL seat in any trade. Of engineering then. 40000 per year is the college fees and 26000 approx. Per year Is the hostel fees.And if you get a seat under TUITION FEES WAVIOUR SCEME (TFWS) then your tuition fees will be exempted and you will have to pay only 15000 a year in college fees.(me myself comes under this category??) but for this some specific criteria has to be full filled. I.e. your family's avg income must be under 2 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college offers scholarships for students whose family income is less and have quite a good score in entrance exams and semester exams. Every year top students are rewarded with cash prizes and certificates. Loan facilities are also available. All the required info. Can be gathered from the student welfare cell of college.
Campus Life :
Campus life is just awsome. You can party hard in hostel in birthdays etc. College has many resturents inside the campus itself where you can go and have your party time. Workshops are organised by the Societies of individual Branches. e.g. Society of Electrical Engineering is a Nationally recognised society of our college which organises workshops and other competitions like robotics and all. Other socities are CCE(Collaboration Of Computer Engineers), RAMP(Royal Alliance of Mechanical and Production).They work well to organise many events and competitions. These competitions are also organised in SPANDAN the tech. Fest of college. College also focuses on sports hence organises the interbranch sports meet called as JOSH. Clubs are there in college to enhance your social, language related, dancing, technical and other skills. Some of the names of the clubs are- ROBOTICS CLUB, DRAMATICS CLUB, LITERARY BUREAU, DANCING CLUB etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Well, hostel rooms are quite big. 4 students share one room. And for there is a new hostel evry year means every year the hostel changes and so the mess. Mess food quality varies with the hostels. The first year hostel and second year hostel have food whi

Well senior students are very helpful to junior students. All these clubs and societies are made only by our dear seniors. You will be helped 100% when you are in need of it.Alumni come to the college several times and motivates the college students and inspire them by their success story and journey through our college.
Exam Structure :
Exams and labs are quite a bit serious in every college. And same in our college, semester exams are of only 3 hours timing. The sessional exams are of only 1 hour timing. You won't get pressurised in exam times.And rest depends student wise.??
