Course Curriculum Overview :

I pursued MBA- Rural Management and it was a full-time 2-year course divided into 4 semesters. The course includes live projects, Social Mobilization, Case Study Research Segment, Live problem diagnosis (Fieldwork), etc.

Placement Experience :

There is a 100% placement in our college. Our college has a reputation for good placement opportunities. The companies like Odisha Livelihood Mission (OLM), Care, Reliance Foundation, Tata Trusts, etc. were some of our recruiting companies.

College Events :

We celebrated Teacher's day, freshers day parties, etc. The main event celebrated in our college was the "AAROHAN”, it was an annual festival organized entirely by the students. In this fest, different types of management competitions, cultural program, quiz, etc. were organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The grand total fee for the MBA ( Rural Management) course was ?6.97 Lakhs and it includes the tuition fees and other fees for every semester. I think the fees for our college was feasible compared to other management colleges.

Hostel Facilities :

The college provides a hostel for boys and girls separately. The rooms were in a double-occupancy room and it was well furnished and the facilities provided were also good. The fees can be paid by installment in semester wise, 1st and 2nd installment- 25,000, 3rd- 28,000, 4th- 25,000 and also the mess fee cost Rs.21,500 for every semester.

Admission :

The college has its own entrance exam, so I cleared the KIITEE and then a few days later, I was selected for the group discussion. And based on my performance in the group discussion, I went through a personal interview.

Faculty :

The faculty members were one of the best faculties that I have ever encountered. They were sincere and committed to their job. They were very cooperative with us, so we can ask them our doubts and queries freely.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

My experience in IMIT

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester you will get the chance to opt for placement. This college doesn't provide much placement but it's better than other government colleges. As there is a lockdown since 2020, this year students didn't get much chance for placement.

Campus life in BEC is very enjoyable. Still enjoying each and every day. We do not feel like we are in college. We do have many female students but we do not feel any gender feelings.
