Remarks :

My journey with the GJIMT was a mixed bag of feelings. I learned a lot and enjoyed myself a lot. This college gave me some of the best memories of my life, be it the campus life, the events or the industrial visits. It shaped my career for good. On top of that, I got a decent placement via on-campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our syllabus was pretty dynamic and updated. I personally learned a lot from the curriculum and helped me gain a holistic view of all the disciplines. We learned a lot from the curriculum in order to be more suitable for corporate jobs. Session was divided into four terms and the exams were held at the end of each term. Internal exams, external exams, summer internship reports, dissertations were among other factors accounted for the performance evaluation of the students.

Placement Experience :

All the companies that visit our college for the placement process were from different backgrounds like Aerospace & Defence, Banking, Development & Social, Financial Services/ Microfinance, FMCG, NGO, etc. College prepares the students for the placement drives specifically for the interview rounds. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Acer, Wipro, IIHT, etc. recruit students for a number of profiles. Placement packages offered are pretty decent, as well. The highest package offered was around 7 LPA and the average package was around 3 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My first-year fee was around 89k to be paid on a semester-wise basis. My college fee was an expensive side for me. Our college also offers some loan facility and even the needy students are awarded scholarships, but the fee structure could be a little less.

Campus Life :

We had different committees and clubs taking care of different activities on the campus. Spardha was the sports club that organizes the sports activities for the students to take part in, while the Marketing club and HR club were clubs responsible for organizing marketing and HR events to boost practically and physically indulge students in the practice.

Admission :

The admission process is pretty robust here. I applied with my XAT exam scores. My XAT scores were not that good, but still, I was invited to the counseling process. The counseling process was pretty lengthy in itself. It included an essay writing test, a GD round and a PI round. A final merit list was prepared which had my name and I was granted admission thereafter.

Faculty :

Our faculty was pretty qualified and supportive. All of them had at least 10+ years of experience in the corporate sectors. They had a unique style of teaching on top of their tremendous corporate experience. They made the topics easily understandable.

My curriculum is relevant to my studies and it also influence my decisions. Our practical study gives us real life instance to take decisions effectively. Areas of improvement includes some mentors who only focus on theory based study.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from semester 3rd and the also get internship after 2nd semester. Placement rate is quite impressive as we look for the fee. In short more than 75% of the students will get placed and remaining will get offers as well but they don't join. My plan after MBA is be a good manager at some biggest company.

Our college is good for placements. Last year highest package was 14 lakh per annum. It also provide internship opportunity. One can also start his own startup with the help of college. Most of the students are placed. Many companies including Deloitte, fedral Bank etc. visit here. I also want to get placed.

Placement Experience:

Final Placement also starts from August along with the Summer internships, Usually till February Most of the students get placed, but during our time placements was bit challenging due to market conditions. everyone does not get placed some opt out and those who did not get placed have to search by their own. Few students from my batch are still yet to be placed, Placements committee is bringing companies but those companies are not good or paying much lesser. In my opinion Placement Process should be done by Management or any Agency, Students should not be involved in the Placements role. When students are involved for placements and they have been provided with so much control and power they misuses it. The Placement Committee run by students does not work with transparency lot of misuse of power and control is being done by those students.

Placement Experience:

I already got placement in the final year of B.Tech from the same campus in a Noida-based company but want to pursue MBA first. It all depends upon the capabilities of a student to get a placement from a campus drive, college provides a good number of opportunities regarding the same. In my batch, all the eligible candidates got placed in companies either from campus placement or direct interviews. After completing my MBA degree, I will try for MNCs related to the semiconductor industry.

Placement Experience:

After the core terms, the student is available to sit for placements. The number of companies is more than 1000 and offers more than 1800. The lowest package is 25L and the highest is 80L, but some may get even higher for moving abroad.

Remarks:

Our college is a very good college as compared to all the other MBA colleges in the city. The main advantage of the college is the shorter MBA course which is seldom available for the students seeking an MBA.
