Remarks :
The college is recognised as the greenest college campus of the Punjab. Further the infrastructure is equipped with the computers labs and laboratories and the lecture hall is separate than the department blocks and the main thing the clerk's are not cooperative and they will frustrate you.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum are far better than any private college because the labs are well equipped and the instruments as well as machines are working fine so maximum of experiments are performed if the batch is interested otherwise you need to sit and complete your practical file in the place of performing an experiments.
Placement Experience :
Last year Wipro, Hindustan Unilever and Bharat motors visited mine campus and they hired 60% from ME and 87% from CSE and further in Job fair organised by state government in our college campus many were employed.
College Events :
This college has a departmental functions organisation SECA and are organised by every department annually and the fresher as well as Fair well is organised by 2nd year and pre-final year respectively. Our college has a combined annual function of all departments. The participation is countless and the crowd is too much affectionate towards these events
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee is more or the college is expensive as comapred to our government colleges Total fee of a semeseter for a new student 58k approx( varying every year) and 50k approx for second year, pre-final and final year students. Excluding the hostel charge of 4k/sem for double/triple seater and 5k/sem for single seater.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes CMSS chief minister scholarship scheme is available in this college which is based on your marks of Intermediate whereas PMSS is also available for Kashmiris and SC/ST category students. The fee waiver is their because of which the fee is reduced to less than the 1/10th of total fee
Campus Life :
Hockey, Cricket, Football, Table tennis, Badminton, Basketball areain sports organised in our college and every year in sports meet many sports are organised and many of us particiapate in this and the prize distribution is done by either director or the Rajyapal of Punjab.
Hostel Facilities :
Their are 4 hostels namely on the rivers passing through Punjab GANGA BHAWAN, YAMUNA BHAWAN, SATLUJ BHAWAN and BEAS BHAWAN. I was settled in Satluj in the starting and after passing mine second year I use to change it to Ganga and facilities are better and every hostel has its own story but the mess is private which costs nearly 3k-3. 5k every month which is expensive as compared to the cost, the food is not upto the mark.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes the seniors are too helpful and polite that can't be imagined and they behave just as a brother and help in all the way they can so the environment of College campus is good. You can't that these are seniors when you will meet them and best thing they will stand with you everywhere and in hostel or college campus the group of student is divided into two one of Punjabi's and student from Delhi and the other of Bihari's, student from UP, Bengal and other state.
Admission :
I had a qualified JEE mains but being in general category my rank was too low to catch any NIT so knowing myself I refused to appear for Advance and with mine scores I started serching for govt. and Pvt. colleges and fortunately I found this one and quickly I confirmed mine seat.
Faculty :
According to me the faculty is good for a learner batch and is worst for a batch which is forcelly attending the lecture. The teaching staffs are too good to teach and their behavior is supportive and they understand your thoughts and guide you accordingly.
