Remarks :

I got admission on the basis of jee mains rank and number but nowadays open admission process is going on. I had already made up my mind to opt for electrical engineering because I was interested in this. For admission, you have to visit the college and pay the fees and your admission will be done. You don't need to visit any counselor for this.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Not satisfied with the faculty of the college. They were well educated as everyone was post-graduated, even 2/3 we're researchers. But no faculty was interested to teach except 1/2. No one was interested in students' futures. They only knew to finish the syllabus in time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is too expensive. As the college is a Punjab state government college but the fees are more than that of a private college. I had to pay almost 50,000 per semester so for 8 semesters I had to pay 4 lacs total. It's only college fees. No, Scholarship was available for general-category students. SC/ST category could avail of this facility and their fees were reduced by around 70% of the general category fees. But now they are providing scholarships under the Punjab government Education Scheme. But at that time there was nothing like this. No, any loans availability facility is available.

Campus Life :

There was an annual sports athletic meet every year in which Running (200m, 400m, 1600m), Cricket, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Hockey every outdoor and indoor game was organized at the college level. The gender ratio of males was 70% and of females was 30%. No student/dorm parties were organized. Workshops were organized by the college but only 1/2 times over the duration of 4 years. The workshop was also for 3-4 days. There was also an anti-ragging committee in college. So no ragging. No discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, sex, religion, or sexual orientation was practiced there. And if someone did this then very strict rules were there for them. Politics was very active on the college premises RSS and ABVP were active in the college.

Other Applied Colleges

Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus - [SBSSTC] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Civil Engineering)

If you are good at studies, then there is a high chance that you will get a scholarship easily. (

Placement Experience:

I don't have real-time data on specific universities or companies. Generally, campus placement eligibility varies, but students typically become eligible in their final semesters. Companies visiting and offers made depend on the university and its partnerships. For detailed placement information, check your university's placement reports. The highest and average packages, along with profiles offered, are company-specific. You can find this information in placement reports or from your university's career services. The percentage of students getting placements also varies; it's often mentioned in placement reports. As for my plans after getting the degree, I don't have personal
