Remarks :
I was pretty scared about college life in the beginning, but my college has just brought in good people into my iife. I have been in a learning environment and developing as best as per my capability.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Honestly, the MAKAUT curriculum is pretty easy. Marks can be easily obtained if one remains focused and do the minimum required hardwork. Teachers and seniors are always ready to help, and that is one of the best things about MSIT. The labs and exams are conducted smoothly and always chilled, although some machines do need an upgrade.
Placement Experience :
Yearly placements are so far good. Although placements ultimately depends on the students. But at the same time, MSIT does bring good Companies into Campus every year. Although internships are not provided by the college itself but means of getting internships and sources of many such are provided by the faculty. My teachers have all through guided me as best as they could have.
College Events :
Two technical fests are held in our college every year. One is intracollege. One is intercollege. The technical fests are very interesting and knowledge developing with participation certification for everyone. There is one cultural fest that is held every year at the time of April. Management fests are not heard of. But the music club and Rotaract club of our college participates in all the other held fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure is feasible and comparatively less actually. For BCA students the fees structure is as follows: Time of admission : 42000 (10000 for save deposit that will be returned. ) Semester wise : 32000 for the next 5 semesters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am unknown to any such offers. Good placements are indeed given to deserving students but not scholarships Students are helped best upto their capabilities but never over worked. The learning experience remains interesting without any serious pressure.
Campus Life :
Many forms of extracurricular activities are held at our college. However the ratio for boys to girls are higher. There are the normal fests and parties that all colleges have, but importantly there is also no discriminations between religions caste or creed. Students are all equally treated and encouraged to be engaged into as many extracurricular activities as possible.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for Hostel, but I have many friends living in them. The hostels are pretty good, with good living environment and proper infrastructures. All required facilities are made available and students are given the necessary amout of privacy and freedom as well.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. Seniors are very very helpful and like older siblings. And even with the Alumnis, the network is strong since every year reunions are held at my college, where all passout students with their families are invited and many attend these, whereby a connection is developed between the old students and the new ones.
Admission :
I had to give my CET examinations, based on it's merit list and my 12th marksheets, I got admitted into this college. Doing BCA was my ultimate choice after researching many other courses. The admission criteria was very simple and easy. I had to go to the main office in Saltlake, show them my documents and fill up the admission required criteria. My college's fees are comparably lower to those of other Techno India group colleges and hence for me it was a very good option.
Faculty :
My college faculty is upto the mark for an engineering private college. Infact everyone ia very helpful and mentoring of students are constantly done to keep the students updated and refreshed. Teachers in different methods are tried on a seasonal basis, and students receive the very best behavior of the teachers. However teachers do scold us when the adulting natures of students crosses limits that should be kept in mind.
