Remarks :

Positives-Helpful and cooperative environment amongst your fellow classmates,seniors and faculty members. Class notes do help a lot in the semester exams to score good marks. Negatives-Too many assignments to complete.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course carries a total of about 40 subjects,divided into 8 semesters in the duration of 4 years.There are 2 internal exams,practical exams and lab-vivas and semester papers for each subject in each semester.

Placement Experience :

Yes,the placement cell is moderately well in our college and students get job opportunities from various companies like Cognizant,Wipro,TCS,Accenture,etc via on-campussing as well as pool campussing.Our college does not provide internship but interested students become interns of some company or the other.

College Events :

The academic session begins with the orientation programmme followed by the the Teachers Day celebrations.Next,we have our grand 'Utkarsha',our cultural fest and a mega inter-college technical fest,namely 'TechHetc' where several college showcase their talents in technical fields.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Total Fees INR 1.16 Lakh View Fees Structure (Fees Components : Tuition, Admission, Library, Development Fee, Personal Skill Development Fee, Computer Fee, Uniform Fee, Miscellaneous Fee) Hostel Fees (Yearly) INR 48,000 Total course fee for student who have admitted through JEXPO Exam is INR 116000 Total course fee for student who have admitted directly is INR 152000. Mess Charge of INR 2300 per Month is included in hostel Fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college provides scholarships and discounts to economically backward students to cooperate with their conditions.There is a TFW (Tuition fee Weiver) scheme available for them so as to get a complete discount in tuition fees.

Campus Life :

Hostel Facilities :

-Fi facility was available, but not good. There were two computer labs, air-conditioners rooms and many computer machines for practical classes. There were two huge rooms, but they need to be renovated and also some instruments should be bought. There was a huge hostel where the food was good and the water supply was also decent

Alumni/Alumna :

From the very first day,i was assured that our seniors are very helpful and cooperative.They help us out whenever we fail to understand anything as well as guide us in different ways. There is no ragging scope and so anyone can speak and consult freely with seniors.

Admission :

Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in JEXPO Exam (Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics) conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE). Remaining 50% of seats are filled through direct admission.

Faculty :

Our faculty members are very good, supportive and cooperative in nature.They provide us with useful notes for sem exams,provide vital suggestions and most importantly,guide us in every professional step we should take in future.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placements, most of the placements occurs in CSE and IT branch, but surprisingly in the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad, the Mechanical branch has the same placements comparatively just the fact is that the package is less.

I have just completed my final year boss and just tell in the presentation that placement eligibility is 4th year and you must have experience. Many Companies visited to our college like Infosys, HCL, wipro, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like, IBM, Idea, Infosys, tata motors, hp, Nokia, etc come for placement. 90% of students are getting placed on campus. My plan after getting a degree is to crack gate and go for higher studies (mtech).

Placement Experience:

from 7th sem student can apply for placements. tata - about 4 -5 LPA, buyjus 2-3 LPA, l&t 4-5. the highest package- 26 LPA by one Japanese company and the average is around 3 to 4 LPA. about 40 % of students placed. I am preparing for the gate so I didn't have any placement plans now

Placement Experience:

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.

From 3rd year students can be placed in various companies. The companies like Barclays, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Flipkart, Microsoft etc. And many offers were made. The highest offer is 100000 and average is 25000 for freshers. Placement percent is 90%. My plan is to do a Masters from abroad.

Remarks:

The college Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha is very reputed college as it is Shiksha Mandal's college. I saw many advertisement about this college throughout the year and that's why choose to take admission in it.

Placement Experience:

Till now no company has visited. 2 students are selected and that is with their own efforts. Not having any job referral because hardly few students are placed. In startup one group won the hackathon and I guess they are doing their startup thing

College is trying Best for Highest Placement and the graph is increasing year by year. Infosys, LTI, Amazon, Mahindra,puraniks, Capgemini. The college takes aptitude training for students for shortlisting interview candidates and the average package is 4.5 lacs. College provides free gate training and GRE training for those who want to study abroad.
