Review of my college

Remarks :

I just want them to improve their placement so that students can reach bigger heights and at the end of the day student should get for what they came for.Placement as per the region and nearby places is quite OK but they need to improve their facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is somewhere close to moderate, like any other colleges they teach us all the subjects that would make us a computer science graduate but the interest making part and practical implementation of the concept is lagging somewhere. Professors as usual, some are helpful and well educatedwhile a few of them is not at all good, they try to deliver whatever they have. Attendance system is somewhat inclined towards students and exam structure of every semester is fixed beforehand and there is a clear and unfair system of exam conduction which is the biggest pluspoint.

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunity are quite good. The network of companies coming to my college is quite good and it is really good to see students getting into good MNCs. The internship depends upon the students initiation and their linkage with the placement officer.

College Events :

There are quite a number of vests in our college, but the most popular of them is ZION, MANTHAN and EXPRESSIONS. Zion being the cultural fest, manthan being the technical fest and expressions being the literary fest if our college. COER is famous in its region because of the social festivals it organise and these fests are the regions that make them class apart.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible, The annual tuition fees is 1,05,000 and hostel fees for single accommodation is 75000 while for double accomodation it is 60000 and hence the total annual feeds including tution, hostel and extra charges is around 2LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

To my personal knowledge, there are no scholarships. There are no scholarships available in my college as far as knowledge is considered. You need to pay the equal amount of money and there is no scholarships for anyone of the students

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are good. Football and cricket teams of our college are well reknowed across the state and have various tournaments across the state. There is nothing like discrimination based on any of the factors and the labs are of moderate level. All the facilities are available but not all of them are par upto the mark.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is one of the most benefits if studying here. Hostel is great and without any doubt you will enjoy the four precious years in our college hostel and it is value for money. But the biggest disappointment is mess food and no nonveg is allowed inside the college premises and this is of the weak links of my college being lacking with food.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors is another benefit of the college ,because of the most exclusive hostels across the area and the bond between the seniors and juniors become extraordinary. The alumni network is great and they are helpful by nature.

Admission :

I got 121 marks in JEE 2016 and my class 12th percentage was almost 70 percent, So I could not get any government institutes across the country. I got to know my college through a friends father and it was getting late to get admission in any college, so I came here along with my father through the all India merit list quota seat and I was offered computer science.

Faculty :

Professors of my branch if my college is quite good. Some of them are really very hardworking and some of them are inspirational also. They are helpful by nature ,some of them try to show them as strict but at the end of the day they also favour the students and try to do as much as possible.Hod is a good person and without any doubt he is the most sense making person in the whole college.

From 3rd year that is 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placements and interships. The companies who visited our campus is Deloitte, PWC, Amazon, TCS, Mahindra etc. Highest package offered currently in 2023 is 32 Lpa and 22 Lpa and average is between 5-6 Lpa.80% of the total students appeared in the placement. My plans is to pursue mtech after this.

Placement Experience:

6th sem onwards placement drives are carried out in this university. All the students in that particular semester may be eligible for the placements. No I said eligible as because the attendance as well as the backlogs are checked. As the college is very strict about attendance and backlogs. If either of the two doesn't reaches rhe minimum criteria then the students are debared for the session or from the placements drive. Ok so 192 companies visit the campus every year where the hight package reached was of INR 33.50 LPA. The average package ranges from INR 7LPA - INR 8.5LPA. Placement percentage is almost around 91% as of the current year. My plans after getting the degree is to like opt for higher studies and get placed either abroad or into the biggest MNC in India.

Placement Experience:

As I'm in 2nd ye I don't know much about the placement cell but I heard from the seniors that the placement ratio is good but only for those who devoted themselves to studies. The highest placement ever was like 1.1 CR and avg is 6L. The percentage of students getting placement is like 40%.My plans are giving CDS or GATE exam for higher studies.

Remarks:

It was recommended by my seniors who have earlier studied in this college. The other thing that fascinated me towards the college is the faculties. They are well qualified and heard from others they teach so well so i chose the college. The other thing is the infrastructure and the college is in the area where less noise comes.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Some company that visits are zaro education, rubisoft etc. Placement has 3-4 rounds and the placement cell is good and managed with good teachers
