Remarks :

The ies college of engineering chitillapilly was a good college with good infrastructure. Only problem was the management during our college days. They doesn't know how to run the college with rules. I don't know what is the present condition of the college. But if management can make good decision to make it a good college they can.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The ies college of engineering chitillapilly had good infrastructure, the course I chose was mechanical engineering. When I joined here the staff was very good and every month there were exams conducted in the exam Halls. Labs were very much good with equipments

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities were very less. Only few placement companies were coming to college for taking placements. Even after the b tech course in ies college of engineering chitillapilly students are not getting jobs

College Events :

The ies college of engineering chitillapilly was good at celebrations. At first year we had the opportunity to celebrate few festivals like onam christmas college day annual day. Etc Also they conducted a dirt bike show in the college and conducted a motor vehicle show in the college

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The ies college of engineering chitillapilly had a very expensive fee structure. The students with merit list only had the benefits. The students who joined by management quota had to pay an expensive amount for studying each year in advance in ies college of engineering chitillapilly

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The ies college of engineering chitillapilly haven't given any scholarship or loan facility to the students. The students who joined the college by management quota had to pay an expensive amount as fees still no scholarship for students

Campus Life :

The extra curricular activities in ies college of engineering chitillapilly was good. First year they conducted sports football and cricket tournament. Once they conducted dirt bike race and a motor vehicle show in the college. The labs in ies college of engineering chitillapilly was very much equipped with equipments

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors in the ies college of engineering chitillapilly was very much helpful. Some of the seniors helped our Classmates to get a job. Few got job abroad through seniors interactions. They were very helpful during college days and even after that.

Admission :

I got admission through entrance exam. Admission in ies college of engineering chitillapilly was through entrance exam merit list. I got admission in the first merit list. It was in the year 2011. I choosed mechanical engineering in ies college of engineering

Faculty :

The faculty in ies college of engineering chitillapilly was good. At first year itself there were many senior experienced teachers in teaching me the subjects. They were very good at teaching and labs were very much equipped with equipments

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
