College Life- [SGSITS], Indore

Remarks :

Positive is the way we get opportunities in every field whether it is related to academics or sports or technical events or job opportunities. Infrastructure is also quite good and every year a 25-year-old batch used to come and provide facilities for new creation like cafe, gym, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is quite good both in terms of theory and practical. Exams are held 2 times a year and before every exam, we need to give 2 Mid sem tests and we get to know about our attendance and marks every month.

Placement Experience :

Placement and jobs opportunities are very good with respect to private and some other government colleges. College placement cell also provides internship opportunities for us which are either stipend-based or course-based. I got a course-based internship without a stipend but that course cost was equal to 40000 in rupees.

College Events :

Every year in our college lots of events takes place and we can participate it through various clubs which are either for technical events, cultural events and I used to participate in aayam festival which comprises of all such events together.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible fees structure which is like up to 3 lakhs for a full 4-year course. There are a total of eight-semester with 35000 fees per semester which include all the facilities except hostel fees. Hostel fees are not included in it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I only know about scholarship opportunity which is given to various students but for that attendance matters a lot. I don't know about the loan facility maybe it will be there in our college system. We also get a reward for getting a high score in the respective branch.

Campus Life :

Labs are quite well equipped according to my branch and for sports, there are lots of courts and playgrounds for basketball cricket football badminton chess table tennis volleyball and also we used to get opportunities for inter-college events state and national events.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are always helpful either in respect to job opportunities and also for increasing confidence and moral support and also provide proper guidance for placement. Alumni are also helpful as we have a group for alumni chat also.

Admission :

I got admission through jee mains score. I gave the jee mains exam after which I applied for MP colleges through an online portal and then I got a chance in round two and then I got an electronics branch. After all colleges round, we used to get the opportunity to change our branch on the basis of CGPA.

Faculty :

All senior faculties are well trained and experienced and the new faculties also take proper guidance from them. Seniors faculty used to teach while asking questions and also sometimes help us to find extra knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
