Remarks :
It is the best college. According to survey held, Sinhgad Dental College and hospital is in top 10 of all dental colleges of India. And InMaharashtra also it is at top than government college. College takes all efforts to make us good dentists.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My carriculum of the course is fantastic. Exam structure is also very very good. We have total three internal exams in every year. And then the university exam. We get wholly prepared for the university since we get practice in college's exam. Also the labs are also good.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are really good. But only the condition is you need to be very good at knowledge and skills. Yes our college do provide the internship for each and every student of the college. And moreover if the student is good in carriculum all the years of degree, College will give him or her the chance to do PG in our college only.
College Events :
All types of events are celebrated in our college. Mainly the culturals is a more of fun. In that we have the different kind of days given and according to that we have to dress up. Then the event named karandak happens for all Sinhgad institute and there in our college participate and gives students the chaance to meet celebrities. Also the freshers party, dj night and more such events are held in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is moderate according to me. Because even if the fee is slightly more, here's education is unbeatable and students got that skill which is required for the future dentist. The fee for a open category student is somewhere around 6 lakhs this year. And for category student it is very less if student has come from merit list.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't have much idea about this facility in our college because I'm not in that yet. But one of my friend have decided to take the education loan for undergraduate. In the view of scholarship, it is good for category student. Also for girls every year the savitribai fule scholarship is given on account of student. And other scholarship are given at the time of postgraduate for poor students provided they are intelligent enough.
Campus Life :
Extracurricular activities are held in abundance. Especially in cultural program, sports-outdoor as well as indoor, cooking competition, make up tutorial, dance, plays, parties, floor decoration is taken place. And for gender ratio girls are more than boys. Nothing like politics or gender tolerance or anything happens in college
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel and mess fee is really less and I think it is the best secured and saafe hostel in our area. We have to return hostel before 9 pm. Also girls have got gas for cooking at hostel. Regular attendance is taken place. If wants to go for night out, parents permission is required.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. All the senior students are very helpful for juniors. Whatever carriculum or extracurricular help we need they are always available. Once I needed help in practical work, the senior themselves came in my room and explained all the thing. They're really helpful.
Admission :
Got the admission in this college by merit list in second round of neet examination. Admission process was of three rounds total. In first round I got another College but I did not fill the retention form for that college and moved to this college in second round. Since I heard this as a good college I fill the retention form and got admission.
Faculty :
The whole faculty is very very very good and dedicated. They are with very good degrees and experiences. They teach from heart and regularly syllabus is completed. They check the papers also without delay and tell us our mistakes also. They make us perfectionist and want us to be good dentists and person also.
