Course Curriculum Overview :

The course in Sinhagad college provides complete exposure to the students about the competitive medical field outside and its day to day advances. The syllabus helps us students understand how the human body functions with the help of theory, and it helps us get a hang of the practical aspects with laboratory sessions

College Events :

Our college hosts an annual sports meet where various colleges compete against each other to win a trophy and awards and certificates of participation. All the students are highly encouraged by the teachers to participate in all the sports of their choice. Cultural festivals and days are also an integral part of our events list.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It can be said that the fees are slightly a bit expensive. The college claims to provide top class amenities and they do stick to their word, which is why the overall fees for open category of students ranges till about 6L per annum.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are separately available for boys and girls with a clean and tidy hostel mess along with it for all the hostelers. The hostel is under the supervision of wardens and chief wardens who make sure there is discipline and a specific code of conduct maintained in the hostel.

The NEET entrance test is necessary for all the students to be eligible for an admission in this college. After the college puts out the list of preferred students selected online, the further admission formalities are completed on the campus itself.

Faculty :

Our college has some of the best, experienced, highly qualified professional doctors who teach us and make the syllabus a piece of cake for us students. We are grateful for such a supportive and extremely brilliant faculty who are always available for their students oout of the campus as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this course is because I was interested in the human body anatomy and biology. Subjects like oral surgery, radiology and general medicine are my current favourites. The curriculum prepares us for real life cases by including various examples of different patients. The practical quota is such that it requires the students to attend to the patient in real life scenarios in an actual hospital. These experiences gained in the clinics during the course help in better understanding the theory part of the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is well matched with the courses. There are practical classes which are really important for the health care field. In those classes we are actually taught the skills which we will require in our work, which will help us to treat our patients. Every skill is thought in detail and we even have practical examination which will check how much we have learnt. Exams are of a good level which prepare us to use our concepts, hence shaping our mind for the future situations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS is the only degree where you start with specialization. You have a limited part to deal with but has diverse clinical cases. One can easily set up a clinic after BDS unlike MBBS . The course also has the involvement of medical subjects for first two years. Each year has two internal exams , one prelims and then a final university exam

Placement Experience:

As this is a professional course there are no placements here the students have to excel on their own by setting up a clinic or preparing for masters. I am most likely to prepare for the matter degree and wish to get the same college for a masters degree.

Remarks:

Positives: A healthy hassle free environment without any kind of ragging related issues. One of the safest colleges for Womens. Frequent placement drives from various of companies all over India. Leaves you with adequate knowledge about the subject with acceptable academics. Negatives: Not suitable if you want to enjoy the college life along with academics. Fee structure is not feasible for lower class people if appointed through management.
