Course Curriculum Overview :
Definitely the curriculum is totally based on enhancing our technical skills in the engineering world. Every branch has their specific subjects which is related to that individual branch. Labs are available in the colleges to make every theoritical knowledge to prove practically. The curriculum provides industry-specific knowledge very well to the students which is much more helpful in securing on and off-campus placements. The college even provide an industrial visit to 4th semester and for the 6th semester students every year.
Placement Experience :
As we are still in our second year, we will be eligible for placement by 2021. But talking about placement of our seniors it is quite overwhelming. Companies like Tata Steel, Tata Motors, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, HP and many more multi National companies recruit students every year. The recruitment is generally carried through interview followed by written test. Around 80% of students are being placed every year in different companies from campus placements. Yes the institution are keen in taking special steps to prepare the students for placement.
College Events :
Like every IIT and NIT, our college to organises fests. It includes cultural, technical, sports-related events etc. The popular technical event named as Provenance is 3-day techno-cultural fest which allows every student to participate and enhance their skills in the technical environment. The 3-day Frolic is totally based on sport event which showcase the physical talent of the students to the outer world. Many different colleges come to participate in the events held in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
This college have very feasible College fees. For every year, we have to pay approx 90000/- tuition fees including accommodation charge of 30,000/- per annum. During admission, we have to pay 10000/- and 5000/- extra as a caution money for college and hostel respectively. Yes, the college provide transparency in every fee breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college offer scholarship opportunities to students too. The students can avail scholarship easily by gaining good marks in the semester exams. Topper of each branch gets 25% rebate in tuition fees and overall topper gets 50% rebate in the tuition fees. During the admission process, you can also avail scholarship by having a good rank in JEE main.
Campus Life :
Life at RVSCET is a rich blend of learning and fun. Students coming from diverse backgrounds come together in a single thread of friendship and love. Every year college adopts a particular theme and organises various cultural and sports event, thereby making it the liveliest part of the entire year. Workshops are conducted on a regular basis to make instil right kind of professional attitude. Campus life at RVSCET is full of charm. Different diversity of student come together, share their ideas, event and initiate changes.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel for RVSCETians is like a home away from home. There are 5 halls of residence in which there is 3 for boys and 2 for girls. The hostel is well administered by a warden and a chief warden. All the hostels have dining facilities for all students. In addition to that canteens are outside the hostel. Student can relax in the evening or spend their leisure time in the common room which is equipped with TV, newspaper, magazines etc. There is big football, cricket playground, basketball court, volleyball court etc for sports to enjoy.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our college organises alumni meet up every year to interact with the passed out senior batch. The shares their experience with us which enhance our skills to outer industrial world.
Admission :
I took admission through JCECE entrance test. This exam is held every year in May or June. You can also take admission accordingly through JEE MAIN entrance test rank. I opted for the Electrical and Electronics course because of the core branch. Since it is the core branch so there is much opportunity for government jobs as well as private jobs too. Since i was looking for the best college in the same state by which i come to know about RVSCET College which is one of the best college in Bihar and Jharkhand.
Faculty :
The faculties of our college are highly attentive and qualified. The students to faculty ratio is 40:1. The lecturer is well experienced. They are of average middle and young age and maximum are assistant professor and PhD qualified. Teachers are too helpful and supportive. They are full of knowledge. Their teaching methods are very good. Yes maximum faculties are holding industry experience with adequate certifications.
