Remarks :

MBA from UIM was a learning curve, I am proud to indulge with. Teaching is good in the college which is reflected in its student-teacher ratio. Though there's still room for improvement in the placement process. Facilities provided on campus and in the hostel are above par and make it worth your money. Infrastructure and campus life was pretty dynamic.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was pretty thorough. We had a very good structure prescribed by Abdul Kalam Technical University. The first two semesters covered all the disciplines providing a holistic view of the company business model. Later semesters were specialization oriented. I personally picked finances since it was my specialization during graduation.

Placement Experience :

There were record placements during my batch. Approx. 90% of my batchmates, including me, got placed during that year. Companies like Byjus, HDFC, Flipkart, policybazaar, and some others visited the college for campus placements. Average packages were also good. Our college also provides assistance for the internship process. Average salary packages stand at INR 3 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is pretty nominal and pretty feasible. I paid around 1,12,000 lacs for the first year and for the second year I paid around INR 97k. College offers pretty good amenities along with a good quality of teaching.

Campus Life :

The entire campus has wi-fi connectivity. A lot of facilities are available on the campus as a lab, digital classrooms, medical, sports (both indoor as well as outdoor). Our college also provides digital classrooms for teaching. The food is quite good in the canteen with many varieties. Samvet and Founder's Day were some of the premier events which are celebrated in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are quite spacious along with the attached washroom plus Wi-Fi availability. I didn't face any infrastructure issues in the college. Special emphasis was paid on the hygiene and safety of the girls.

Admission :

Admission is on the basis of UPSEE-MBA, entrance test. Students who clear the exam are then invited for further rounds of the selection process. The college is near my hometown, that’s why I opted for college.

Faculty :

The faculty are very kind and helpful to the students. They are very knowledgeable. They not only teach students from the book but also give practical examples which help the students to understand well and easily. The student-teacher ratio was around 10:1. We got pretty decent industry exposure.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester of the course, students become eligible for final placements. ISAB is maintaining 100% final and summer internship placements since its inception and we are looking forward to maintaining the record. The placement cell is very active and supports students in their campus placement ventures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course of agribusiness because like after BSc in agriculture you can go for MSc in agriculture or MBA in agribusiness. I don't want to prepare for Ph.D. in the government sector so there is a better scope of an MBA in the private sector rather than an MSc in agriculture. Another reason for doing MBA is placement. The placement ratio of MBA students is better than m.sc students and salaries are also good. Another reason is in the private sector and MBA degree holders will get better promotions than average MSc degree holders. On my campus, there are 46 students in MBA agribusiness and 7 to 80% of them will surely get a minimum package of 350000 and a maximum package of 8 lacs. The guest faculty of MBA agribusiness is quite good. There are some teachers who are not as good as others but there is a 100% guarantee of course completion. Semester exams are not quite easy or too difficult if you will focus a little bit on your studies you will easily get pass. Semester exams are delayed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The trimester exam was there and it is pretty difficult to pass and have very good projects to work on plus the faculty is very good for finance. I am fortunate to be here. All the faculty is doctorate who are teaching plus have a very wide range of practical experience and links at big companies. The faculty is approachable. The college is very regular in respect of course and exam schedule. The course provides in-depth knowledge and exposure to students to real-life problems.

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for internships in any semester but for jobs, they are eligible by their end year only. Companies like Wipro, Paytm, Byjus, HSBC bank, Amazon visits the campus in the management department and almost 65 percent of the students get internship easily based on their skills. And for jobs, the highest package in management was 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.
