Review of Poornima College Of Engineering

There are some positive things and negative things at the same time. Positive is that there is a good environment and we have learned a lot. Negative thing is that syllabus is outdated. But college helps us to recover these things by conducting workshops on various things.

The Course Curriculum is not that much good. As our college come under the Rajasthan Technical University so our syllabus is quite outdated. But in college they prepare us well for placements and labs are also conducted property. It is quite chilled and at the same time we learn a lot of things and do extra curricular activities.

Placements are good in our college. Almost 95% students get placed at the end of the session. Before placements college gives us training on how to crack the exams and interviews. No our college doesn't provide internship. We have to apply for internship on ourselves. They suggest us the technology and the companies from where we can do internship.

There are so many Technical events that our college conducts. The best one is "Aadhar". In this event only first year can participate and the rest of the students can be a coordinator and can guide them. In this event almost every first year student participates. In our college fest "Aarohan". In that also so many technical events are conducted and the students can participate in them.

Fee structure of our college is feasible. It's not that much expensive. We have to pay almost 80 thousand a year. It's lesser that many other colleges, they provide us many facilities in that we can attend seminars of our college free of cost and many more things.

There is loan facility but I am not aware of that. No they don't provide scholarship to us. But we can take loan and get admission. But I am not aware of the process. We can take loan in the middle of our studies also.

Labs are good, they provide us internet facilities. No there is not gender discrimination type of things. Every individual is treated equally. There is no politics or ragging kind of things. If these things happen student can directly complain to the authority and the strict action will be taken. There is not religion based inequality neither by economic status.

The Hostel of our college is the best part. We have to pay 83 thousand a year. Rooms are cleaned and there is good environment. Every festivals are celebrated and we also celebrate Hostel fest and there are so many events in that like cultural, technical, sports, etc.

Yes, we have also a club of Aluminium we can talk to them and can clear our doubts, can ask there experience. There is good interaction with our seniors, they helps us and guide us to clear our exams, in our projects.

My admission was direct Admission. I choosed IT course because in school days I was interested in computers and also score well in it. Some of my seniors also guided me about the courses and then I felt that I am suitable for IT.

Faculties are quite good. They help us in our studies and guide us properly and solve our problems. In our college almost faculties have done B. tech and M. tech. They make sure that we learn alot from them and also they conduct various seminars on new technologies and guide us to make our future bright.
