Course Curriculum Overview :

There are various courses offered by this College to students like B.com,B.A,B.C.A,B.sc,M.com,M.A,B.ed,M.C.A,B.B.A etc.This College Conducts exams two times in a semester(first conditions and then Final)

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of this College may be feasible as well as expensive.The Students who belongs from poor families (like me) can't pay the full amount of fees thus the fee structure is expensive but for those students whose parents are on jobs,the fee structure is feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

D.A.V College of Abohar provides various scholarships and loans facilities to its students every year.The Students who belongs to poor families can take advantage of these services provided by this College.The main purpose of this College is to provide scholarships to needy and intelligent students who are good in studies but belongs to a poor family.

Campus Life :

This College is Also famous for the extracurricular activities provided to the students of this College.There are various labs like computer labs and science labs in this College for bright future of the students.This College conducts various tournaments regarding various sports like cricket, footballs and volleyball etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

The senior students of this College are very kind hearted and they helps their juniors when they need it.The Senior Students provides their old books to the junior students for their financial beside it the seniors helps their juniors by providing the information regarding various schemes of this College.

Admission :

First of all, I got a prospectus and an application form from the General Office of this College and after that I submitted the filled application form and required documents.After that I got Admitted in this College on the basis of merit list.

Faculty :

The faculty of this College mainly involves The Principal Sir then Vice Principal Sir.There are various departments regarding various courses and subjects and the different teachers of various departments like Commerce Department and Economic Department etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly every course have different fee structure. As my course is BCOM so i think if you need to make some higher knowledge of commerce you should go for it because it can help you to make your overall basic knowledge good even if you don't related to commerce stream in 11th or 12th. the way of teaching in the collage is good but still some of the teachers don't have interest to teach their student in the better way. exam system in the collage is good and its difficuly level is moderate also its depend on the subject and point of view of the students

My best College

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this clg, there is outstanding course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. In clg I choose this course because of quality faculty members available for providing high effort for students. The frequency of exams are 3 hrs per exam and timing is based on two shifts: morning or evening. The timing of morning shift were from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and evening shift timings were from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

After 4th sem we got placement opportunities. My course curriculum was good. The faculty members were good, they were teaching well, and they were helpful. I like this course that is why I opt this course. There are mostly 10 faculty members in the commerce department. And students around 580. It takes exams frequently and exams are easy. Yeah, their teaching methods are good.

A Descent college for graduation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had an interest in commerce and wanted to prepare for some govt exams simultaneously. The faculty to student ratio is approx. 1:25. Most of the faculties are average but few are descent. too. Most of them hold a Ph.D. degree from any descent local college and some of them have just done a master's. The exams are held twice a semester Mid semesters and end-semester examinations. They're generally easy to moderate in difficulty level but the checking at GNDU university is a bit on the tougher side still its very easy to pass exams even after studying just a few days before exams

No entrance exam was conducted. It is the first college in area offering B.Com. Professional. Its eligibility was For all those candidates who have passed the 10+2 Commerce or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council.
