A strict but good engineering college In rajasthan

The positive/ negative both part of the poornima group is attendance. You have to maintain 75% attendance throughout the semester for sitting in semester exams. You are having attendance below 75% you may get debarred from upcoming exams.

The course curriculum is guided by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The exam structure is like each semester consists of 6 subjects besides 1st and 8th semester each subject consists of 5 units and each unit consists of 16 marks weightage 20 marks are internal marks which are sent from college on the basis of midterm exam and practicals 50 marks are of discipline. And other practical marks are also there.

Maximum placement drives are conducted than any other engineering colleges. A lots of opportunity are given to each and every students for getting placed 80% of the students gets placed till the end of 8th semester all the leading IT's company like Infosys, capegemini, TCS visits every year and are the mass recruiters. Talking about internships. The internship has to be done by students by their own level from industries and companies after the end of 6th semester.

Events are regularly conducted by the college life aadhar (technical) fest of the college, aarohan (cultural fest), aayam (hostel fest) on a very good level. They are multi days fest held every year.

College Fees structures is feasible and are decided by the rajasthan technical university however the hostel fees is apart in which two category rooms are there. One is ducting and another is non ducting.

Loan facility is also available on college fees but I am little bit confused on this topic you should confirm this by the college staff aur by the college registrar or chief proctor. During your admissions they will help you out on this topic.

Extracurricular activities like singing, painting, ex-tempore, projects are in the routine schedule of the college. The best part of cocurricular activity is industrial exposure. Cultural fests like aarohan is there for extracurricular activities.

The best part of four year graduation is the hostel life. I had lived in the hostel for 4 years. The hostel staff is very good and cooperative in nature. In hostel all the facilities like laundry, mess, canteen, playing zone, cinema theatre, basketball court, table tennis court all are there various activities are also conducted by the hostel among the students.

PAA (Poornima Alumni Association ) is a separate wing in the college which deals with maintaining relation with alumnis. Alumni meets are held every year in the college premises in which alumni from various cities gathers in the college and help and motivates the students in the college.

I had scored 68.6% in 12th class. I had filled the reap form and in REAP counselling. I got ECE (SHIFT II) in Poornima college of engineering but I filled upward movement and I then I got ECE (SHIFT I) in the same college.

The faculties of college are highly educated and experienced. However they are strict according to the college rules and regulations. Talking about the nature of the faculties all faculties are helpful in nature. They are always ready to help the students in any sort of manner.
