Remarks :
I opted for HR and for the final two semesters we learned about resource management in detail.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was pretty thorough and detailed. We learned a variety of topics including accounts, marketing, operations, human resource, etc. For the first two-semester, we learned about general management. For next semester we opted for specializations.
Placement Experience :
The placement record is decent in our college but still has a lot of room for improvement. In fact, the placements were not at par with the fee we paid. The average packages offered were around 2.5 LPA while the highest package was 4 LPA during my batch. Companies like HP, Dell, Airtel, Vivo, etc. visited our campus during my batch.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
My annual fee was around 1 lacs which was somewhat expensive for me. This fee included our tuition fee, registration fee, examination fee, etc. My overall course fee was somewhere around 2 lacs. Though, the Day to expenses was pretty feasible. The college had many scholarship programs, in order to help financially challenged students.
Campus Life :
Guest lectures were quite prevalent in our college among other activities. Annual sports day and inter-college sports competitions kept us on our toes, in fact, I was a part of the volleyball team which secured second place in the inter-college tournament. Management prompted us to take part in all sorts of extracurricular activities. Bhangra night was the most fun event, which I personally enjoyed.
Admission :
Admissions are granted on the basis of the Management entrance exam. The cut-off was not that high during my batch, that's why I got a call for the counseling round. The counseling round included an Interview round, which was aimed at testing the presence of the mind and persuasive behavior of the student.
Faculty :
Our faculty was pretty qualified and had plenty of corporate experience. We shared a pretty good bond with them. They were very helpful throughout our session. The classroom teaching was pretty informative and so were the guest lectures. Overall the standard of teaching was pretty great. And both the teaching and non-teaching staff were pretty supportive.
