It was a once in a life time experience. We had government fees and was very feasible.We have to pay a amount like 9 thousand per year. After that there is only examination fees which must to payed to the university. Which comes around Rs 200 per subject

Course Curriculum Overview :

I studied B-tech in Electronics and communication. Comparing to other engineering courses it was the toughest one. Lots of subject's were very tough and was difficult to follow but eventually turned up well.

Placement Experience :

There were lots of opportunities lots of companies came and i got placed in UST Global. Excluding civil batch all other departments students without supply are placed. But the thing was that major companies who came for the placement were IT companies.

College Events :

There were lots of events like arts fest, sports, cultural events. In our final year 2018 October we had a massive tech fest in our college called Dyuksha were lots of events vere held and it was done with a budget of 2.5 million. Students who are from various colleges throughout the state were invited and participated and it was totally a grand success.

Alumni/Alumna :

They were very helpfull in various ways in raising funds for the events. We had government fees and was very feasible.We have to pay a amount like 9 thousand per year. After that there is only examination fees which must to payed to the university. Which comes around Rs 200 per subject

Admission :

I wrote the kerala entrance examination ,scored 4916 all kerala rank, applied in the allotment and finaly with my rank i got alloted in Nss engineering college Palakkad. After getting the allotment i went to the College for admission processes it was a 1 day long tiring process. Lots of procedures were Undergone and lots of forms were filled. There was also a digital filling were we must enter all our details regarding our past cariculam history to our personal details and contact details.

Faculty :

They very supportive, helpful, inspiring and was totally cool. They were always there to clear our doubts and all. The most important and fun part was that they were not actually behaving like teachers to us they were like our friends and family.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
