Remarks :
My college is situated in a very good location. Surrounded by hills, it gives a glimpse of mother nature. The campus is well connected to the town by bus services and all essential items are available near the college premises.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very much understandable. There are 2 semesters in a year. We have 6 module for each semester. There will be a minimum of 2 internals and 2 assignments in each semester. We have to get at least 45% from all those marks combined or else we will not be able to write the end semester exams. We will be only eligible for course repeat. Summer course is also provided if we are short of internals. We should also get at least 75% attendance in each subject. Failing to achieve this results in the either summer course or course repeating.
Placement Experience :
Our college accounts for a large number of placements and offers from companies all over the world. Our college has achieved a humongous rate of 100% placements in the last year. Our college prepares us to face the interviews and moulds us in a proper way.
College Events :
There are a several varieties of events that are celebrated in my college. We conduct sports day annually. Arts fest is also a part of our college tradition. Freshers day is also another major event organized by our college union.We also organise our very own tech fest DYUKSHA , which is the most sensational and popular among all these events. Spanning for 4 days , it includes many workshops, quiz sessions, treasure hunt, lectures and so many other interesting activities. D20 is the latest version of our tech fest and will be held from January 14-16 in the year 2020.We also celebrate the UNION DAY to officially announce our college union.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As our college is a government-aided institution, our college fees is quite low as compared to other colleges in the state. We only require a sum of 8000 rs as an annual fee. Our college also does not accept donations.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college provides scholarship facilities for sc/st students or students of other lower classes considering their annual income as a criteria. One of such a scholarship is E Grants. E Grants are granted to those who are in great need of financial support.
Campus Life :
There are lots of extra curricular activities available inside our campus premises. Our college has a very large football ground and and equally good cricket ground. There is also a basketball court and a volley ball court inside the college premises. Our college gym also provides an opportunity for body lovers. An excellent tennis court and a very well maintained table tennis court adds to the set of available options for extra curricular activities. The labs in our college are also so impressive. Many of them have air conditioning facilities and provides a better environment for learning.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network plays a very important role in the smooth functioning of our college. Their donations are a major source of money for conducting do many activities in the college. The alumni association members gives us advices on various aspects of the course. The seniors are the backbone of the college every year. The placements they achieve and the levels they reach makes us more competitive.
Admission :
I got admission to my college through the entrance exam KEAM conducted by the government of Kerala. The admission is based on the rank list prepared by the exam council. I applied for ECE department and I was selected. I went to the college for further procedures and saw the beauty of the campus. I was really excited and interested to join the college. There were not so many procedures. I just had to bring my rank list along with the required certificates and my hall ticket. The procedures were smooth and I was admitted as an undergraduate for the year 2018.
Faculty :
All the faculties in my college are very well trained and experienced. Each one of them are at least btech graduates. Most of them are very well experienced. The faculties are always there for us to clear any of our doubts. They helps us in both academic and personal grievances. The faculties connects with us very well and we are free to talk to them.
