Remarks :
The college has great exposure when it comes to academics and technology. But the attendance criteria is very strict. We get very less time for extra curricular activities due to the trimester system. Also the fees structure is very expensive.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We have a trimester system at MIT WPU. Each trimester has 5-6 subjects and 2 exams. The trimester system is very hectic and we get very less time for exams and other activities. The curriculum is quite nice and very effective.
Placement Experience :
The placements in our college are quite average. There are some students who get a package of 25 lakhs but most of the students suffer for jobs. The job opportunities in the college are good as compared with other colleges. We have internships in 3rd year.
College Events :
Aarohan cultural fest,texephyr and plenty of technical and cultural events are held in the college. MIT WPU is recognised for its events. Several celebrites are invited for the events. The exposure we get from the technical events is exceptional.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure is expensive. We are paying around 3 lakhs per academic year. This is very expensive with respect to other colleges. After the college got the deemed university status the fees were almost doubled.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I haven't secured any scholarships till now. But the college has good scholarship structure. Many students get scholarship based on performance and caste. The loan facility is also nice but I haven't opted for loan.
Campus Life :
There are several technical clubs in our college. Many clubs participate in various competitions and organize several events and workshops in college. The labs are also well equipped and we get every instrument we require during the practicals. Sports summit is also he'd every year.
Alumni/Alumna :
There are several alumnis of college who have achieved great success in their respective fields. Yes they are very helpful for the college students. Several alumnis who have start ups provide jobs and internships opportunities to the college students.
Admission :
I secured 104 marks in mhtcet and 81.4 percentage in 12th board. After applying for the CAP rounds I got options for several colleges. But MIT WPU has their own admission system and then I applied in MIT WPU. Based on my marks I got admission in ECE course at MIT WPU.
Faculty :
The college faculty is up to the mark. Almost every subject has new faculty based on the qualifications of the faculty. Almost every faculty has either a master's or PhD degree in the specific domain. I am very impressed with the faculty.
