Remarks :

It's well and good, I didn't heard about any alumni network in our college. I think there's no need of such networks for our courses even though they provided some websites rather than alumni network to get more knowledge about this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We had exams in a 1 month gap. We had labs 3 days a week. Not much stress. It was always chill in atmosphere, I choose mechanical engineering in this college. That there was a good practical learning also good research programs

Placement Experience :

I am still a 2nd year student. Don't know much about the placement scenario. But I know there are very good no of students getting placed every year for my college. Most of the companies that coume to my college are Toyota Mahendra axenger TVS Tech Mahindra exedra

College Events :

Technical and managerial fests are conducted every year in our college. All are intra college fests. Our college used to conduct inter college fests before. All were small scale fests. And the contribution from the college was very less. Ethnic day and freshers day are conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I wrote Kerala entrance exam and I secure a rank in that it's made me to join this college. There is no interview process I followed, I have 10000 per sem for merit basis. There is extra fees for examination. Its an average fees in merit basis.It was a afforadle fee for me.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions There was scholarship and loan provided for completion of the course and concessions of fees was given to students who were unable to pay the fees.All the govt scholarship can be availed here. I got the minority scholarship last year. Loans are also available. College will provide necessary details to get loans.

Campus Life :

During my course there was no internship program but I had a chance to experience to work and learn from the corporate sector. It was a very good experience for me overall.There is no internship within the college. We can do internship from outside. College will give permission for that. Admission :

Like i said the college and the facilities are so good. The college is providing all facilities like wifi air conditioning facilitated class rooms good faculties. but the only defect or bad thing is that they dont have any campus or ground for conducting more programs. I wrote Kerala entrance exam and I secure a rank in that it's made me to join this college. There is no interview process I followed

Faculty :

Faculties work good but they were not much experience. All will be Mtech holders or PhD holders but new in this is teaching field. They were not much experienced Loan/ Scholarship Provisions, There was scholarship and loan provided for completion of the course and concessions of fees was given to students who were unable to pay the fees.All the govt scholarship can be availed here. I got the minority scholarship last year. Loans are also available. College will provide necessary details to get loans.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
