Remarks :

Our college is now deemed university so now we have more good course curriculum. Bad thing about our college is we don't have that much good alumni network. We should focus on this thing also which will help to build our university in many perspectives.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is really well maintained by the professor's of our university and if they find any change required in course, they do it immediately. Regarding exam, At present SPI is divided into 3 parts which are- 25% internal assessments, 25% mid semester exam & 50% end semester exam.

Placement Experience :

Regarding placement, I should say it's depend upon market value at that time and efforts.Though we have avg. Placement of 3-4 LPA with 50% students who are eligible. Yes, Our college provides internship. Mainly in ONGC, Reliance CBM, L&T and many more. I have done my internship in ONGC, WSS. It was great experience. I learned a lot from there and actually it is PSU so I didn't get any stipend though it was great experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Here fee structure is quite expensive. Because we have around 1.2 lakh fee per semester. So at the end of 8 semester it cost around 10-12 lakh. This is only for college classes not for food and accommodation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In our college, first 7 students in each branch get scholarship around 50% of college fees(yearly based). If you are from Gujarat then you can take MYSY scholarship also. And our college also provide great exposure for foreign universities.

Campus Life :

As I already informed, our college is organizes Petrocup which is largest sports fest of Gujarat. So from this you can analyze facility for games. Same goes for extra curricular activities. Here, In our college we have 4 labs for petroleum branch among which one lab is Drilling, Cementing and Stimulation lab(only 3 labs available in all India).

Alumni/Alumna :

At present, we don't have that much good alumni network. But seniors from previous batch are really cooperative and friendly with us. They treated us as small brother. Even if we met them in industry they are very much helpful, like I met my alumni during my internship.

Admission :

I got admission through All India rank in JEE exam. First we need to apply in B.tech. course of PDPU through online platform, then they create a separate merit list of PDPU. Here, out of 120 seats, 35% is for All India category, 50% for ACPC and remaining 15% is for NRI category.

Faculty :

Faculty is really good here. They are very supportive and helpful. For selecting a faculty, minimum education is PhD, so all faculty have good exposure with industry and academic. Here we have lecturers, assistant professors, associate professors, professors. So we have great exposure with industry and academic due to our faculty.

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.
