Remarks :

College is a very good college. Results are only average in this college. We have good teaching and non teaching staffs in our college. Students in the college are also very active. It is really to be in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is a tight schedule for the students. As the college is under ktu University it has very tight in schedules and we have lots of work and assignments to do. Exam structure is fine.

Placement Experience :

College has conducted a lot of placement and internship programs every year. A lot of got placement in the college. There is a lack of big names in the placement area. This year college conducted go-kart making campaign for 2 batches of 100 students.

College Events :

We have conducted so many events. Ethnic day, First years day, Onam 2k19, Tech fest, Arts day, Ahas2k18 intercollege games. Events are less in this college. These are events I got from this college till now. I think we can have more events this year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure of the college very feasible. College are giving a lot of scholarships for students in fees on the basis of entrance rank and also twelfth mark. I think every student get some scholarship deduction in fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a lot students got scholarships in the college. College are giving scholarships mainly on basis of entrance rank and twelfth mark. Students who get rank between 10000-30000 got a deduction of 42000rs in tution fees.

Campus Life :

College have a good conditioned labs in every department. All labs have there own representative lab assistants. Sports are less in the college. We have teams for every games. But we don't have good teams to achieve success to the college.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for hostel facilities. Hostel infrastructure is not every big. We have 2 blocks as hostel. There is 80-90 students in the hostel. Facilities are less but it is a nice hostel. Food in the hostel mess is also good.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network and senior students give a lot of help for the college as well as the students and also for other people. They helped our friend with some money when he get into an accident. Alumni members really doing great work in the college.

Admission :

I got alloted into the college by writing keam entrance exam. I was alotted here in merit rank. First I came here and take get admission. Classes has only started after some days. Admission process was really good.

Faculty :

Faculties in our college are fine. They are good quality teachers. They will do everything for the welfare of the students. They will help us in studies a lot. They are more supportive for us for everything in the college.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
