Remarks :

No negative remarks, At UEM, jaipur you may see more memories to cherish, qualified teachers, good hostel life and moderate mess food ( to be honest). Now, regarding placement , Uem Jaipur does conduct on-campus drives for their students. Even if someone could not.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am admitted with B.Tech (ECE) course, curriculum is good, teachers are friendly & helpful enough, Exam structure is quite good, for each semester you have to give consecutively two mid terms and one final semester exam.

Placement Experience :

Tuition fees – Rs 40,000/- per sem Hostel lodging fees – Rs 15,000/- per sem (optional for students to opt lodging in hostel) Food charges – Rs 20,000/- per sem (optional for students to opt food from hostel mess) Registration fees – Rs 1000/- one time in first semester Examination fees – Rs 600/- per semester

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

#Scholarships were awarded to students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata and University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur at the Science City Auditorium, on the basis of their marks in Class 12, engineering semesters and overall performance. Scholarships worth Rs. 25 lakhs were awarded.

Yes I have opted for hostel, hostel infrastructure is above average and facilities are also quite responsible they were always available when you call them, Hostel warden is very strict for every thing.

Alumni/Alumna :

Usually senior student of this college are helpful but some of the seniors are not good, alumni network is very good we met with many seniors when they came in convocation ceremony we whole heartedly welcomed them and we got good relationship between us

Admission :

To get admission in our college you have to give IEMJEE entrance test, but I got admitted through my JEE Mains result, college authority will call you in phone if you're selected for the admission, then you have to go to any nearest admission centre of iem group for the remaining admission procedure.

Faculty :

Faculty is very good and helpful enough to teach a student, for each subjects there are many teachers, many PhD faculties are there for each subjects, but faculties of Electronics and Computer science are best than other branches faculties.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
