Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is too good.the examination timings are at the best.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good at the best, department of placement has a good communication with companies.our college also provides internships to the cadets to enhance them with the work experience.

College Events :

Many events and the parties will be celebrated.likewise regional related festivals willl also be celebrated like onam, Ugadi,diwali,etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Sonce it is a marine related vourse, fee sipll be slightly high as compared to other colleges.so we shouldn't see fee while joining in these courses.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes college has a good relationship with banking related issues, they provide bank loan with certain bank.they also provide us Bonafide certificate so that we can access bank loan in other bank other their banks which are linked with them.

Campus Life :

There are many extracurricular activities in AMET, it has a well facilitated physical Education department providing students an alla round development in the sports field.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes i have opted hostel because we cadets have daily schedule from early morning 4 am till ni8 7pm so DG shipping made compulsory that every cadet should be in hostel no other choice.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are too good, doing their best to control the students.extremly supportive in the hard times.

Admission :

I have got admission through entrance exam.i also enquired many to take admission in this particular college because only placements are there then only we can say that this college is good.

Faculty :

Faculty is extremely experienced with shipping related courses.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
