Remarks :

Nss college of engineering palakkad is a very good college with superb environment.The surrounding of the college is very beautiful with good natural aesthetics.The college is surrounded with hills and waterfalls.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are well selected according to different branches of engineering.Every year there are 2 internal and 1 main university examination.There are total of 8 semester during the entire course.Apart from regular examinations supplementary examination are also conducted for those who failed to attain minimum marks during regular examinations

Placement Experience :

Nss college of engineering has a very good placement cell for helping students for getting placement in good companies.Students are given special training to perform in interviews.Lots of companies like TCS etc conducts placement sessions in our college.

College Events :

Lots of events and functions are held in our college for providing students a platform to showcase their talents.College annual day,union inauguration,'Dhuksha'-tech fest,arts fest-'Noopura'etc are conducted in our college

Fee Structure And Facilities :

A total fees of about 8000 rupees which is prescribed by kerala technological university (KTU) has to be remitted for each year.Along with it course registration must be done for each semester for attending examination which is about 1700 rupees

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Students can attain scholarship which is provided by government of kerala like e grantz,merit cum means(mcm) for minority category etc.Students must do its paper work and can submit the documents to the scholarship section of the college

Campus Life :

College has a wide network of extracurricular activities.There are many different clubs like nature clu etc, different technical societies like IEEE,ISTE etc. operating in our college.Physical educational department of our college is well developed with good college team for football, cricket, basketball, volleyball etc.2 batches of National Service Scheme is also preaent in our college

Alumni/Alumna :

College has good alumni network with super active senior students. College has a separate alumni block with high standard seminar halls.Alumni of our college are super active and participate in every functions of our college

Admission :

Applied for kerala engineering and medical entrance examination,after entrance rank is published i selected a list of colleges that i prefer.After different allotment i went to my alloted college and there my certificates and documents were submitted and remitted the common fees and thus got admitted to my college

Faculty :

Faculty of my college are all well qualified and very helpful for students.Class notes are provided for easy learning along with tutorial and lab sessions.Each sections of class are provided with 2 group tutors for helping students

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
