Remarks :

Positive remarks : Good Exposure for engineering. Value added training centers inside the campus. Situated in a good atmosphere, away from the city. Negative Remarks: Not spending enough money infrastructure and maintenance. Not allocating adequate funds for celebrations and events.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Outcome based education. All the tests and exams conducted will be focused on measuring the outcomes of that subject. Exam Structure Internal = 40 Marks, External = 60 Marks, 15 One Marks Q/a, 5 Two Mark Q/A, 5 Fifteen Marks Q/A, Time : 3 Hours.

Placement Experience :

The college regularly attains 80% of placement record. All of the students who does not have any standing arrears in the final year will be getting internships. I've been placed in the campus interview before my internship period. As my internship arrived my company took me to train me for the Job. Hence I used my internship period for Pre - Job training.

College Events :

There is less importance to events and celebration. 1) Uddeshah - Technical Symposium This is the big fest celebrated in our college. During this time there will more students from other colleges attending the function. 2) Kleos - Cultural Fest It is a dedicated fest exclusively for cultural activities like dance/ singing / other arts. 3) Varnam - Inter college fest

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The Fee structure is feasible. I've paid averagely 95K Rupees/ Year. For Merit List students it varies based on the community of the students. Students from merit list can also avail other scholarships from the government.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Arutchelvar Scholarship. The College distributes scholarships for the Top 100 Students of every year. The scholarship covers a fee of 25000 Rupees. The selection of the students is based on their GPA at that particular academic year.

Campus Life :

The college does not provide enough attentions to the sports. The Labs are very well equipped with the latest technology. In addition to that there are many Clubs like Photography, Environmental clubs are functioning.

Hostel Facilities :

I've stayed in the hostel for 3 years. The hostel comes with 3 Options of accommodation. 4 / 2 / Single member rooms. I've choose Single Member accommodation. The hostel mess does not provide Non Veg Foods. They provide hot water facilities. They will project the cricket matches in a big screen. It has a inbuilt library and browsing center. Students can also avail internet facilities with their room through the LAN cable. Every room has been provided with a LAN port.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

The Alumni network is going good. There was an alumni portal maintained by the college. There we can contact the seniors. It was really helpful. It is mostly used for discussion regarding the Industry trends with seniors working in the leading industries.

Admission :

I've paid capitation fees, as my marks in 12th is inadequate to enter the college through merit list. The capitation fee varies as per the department. The capitation fee varies every year based on the demand of the department.

Faculty :

Faculties are supportive mostly. They support students who really wants to learn new things. Some faculties are working here after decades of Industrial Experience. They act as bridge between the Industry and Institution

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was comprehensive and we have an option to choose free electives from other departments too. We would have 2 quizzes and one end semester exam in a semester and meanwhile assignments will be shared at regular intervals of time.

Good and low fees

Placement Experience:
