Remarks :

I tried to look for the negatives but hardly found any. The college is located near to the city and in a vast campus. Our college has been accredited grade A by NAAC for the past few years. There's a huge library here which has open access system, containing over 10000 books. Our college is ideal for any student who likes to study well and get his skills and personality developed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Two internal exams per each semester for 6 semesters each will complete the 3 year course. Course curriculum is ideal for students. B.Sc , B.Com, B.A , BCA and BBA are the courses available with different combinations and M.Com, M. Sc Chemistry and Mathematics and MCJ are the post graduation courses.

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are good. Job fair takes place every year in the college. Students from the degree college can take part in the Job fairs taking place at the nearby engineering college run by the same management. Placements are taking place for reputed companies.

College Events :

Our college has many events taking place. College day, Science Fest, Commerce fest, Arts fest, Fine Arts day aka Talents Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Hindi divas. The list goes very long. Our college building has four halls, which I have never witnessed all to be free together except in the time of exams. All these events give great opportunities for students in the form of competitions and activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is not expensive but it's feasible. There is concession in fee for meritorious students who have scored more than 95% in 12th exams. The fee is justifiable for what the students get in the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are Good scholarship facilities in our college based on different criteria such as economic, caste,religion, merit etc. There are funds sponsored by many people for the good of the students. All those scholarships are helpful for the students.

Campus Life :

Labs of our college are perfectly equipped. There are latest working instruments, uninterrupted power supply, well qualified lab assistants and lecturers. Labs are located in such an area that the Labs get fresh air and sunlight. Sports is given great encouragement in our college. Our college has good sports equipment and physical education teachers. As indicated earlier, lot of events and programmes taking place in the college provide opportunities for the students to excel themselves in extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are very good. There are good rooms with good infrastructure. Rooms contain two fans and two fluorescent tubes providing light and there are trees nearby providing fresh air.Food is also of good quality.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network and senior students are very helpful. There is an active Alumni association for the college which functions very well for the betterment of the college. Alumni association also provides funds and scholarships for the students.

Admission :

Application form should be purachased from the college and details should be filled in. After that an interaction with the Head of our departments and the Principal and fee payment will complete the process.

Faculty :

The faculty of our college, all the lecturers, supporting staff and the principal are well qualified, kind and student friendly who do understand what exactly a student requires. They make opportunities for each student to explore his or her hidden talents. In general, the faculty of our college is the best!

Placement Experience:

In mc college the placement facilities are quite low and only few companies will appear for placement. The final year students are eligible for campus placements. And my plan after getting degree is joining for M.Sc chemistry of two years course in Bangalore city University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours

Remarks:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.

Christ has moulded me into a critical thinker!

Remarks:

It has been a great experience studying at Christ. I have had both positive and negative influences. But the most important thing I gained from Christ is a critical perspective of my own. Whatever its demerits, I thank the college and the faculty for helping me grow into the person that I am now. The lessons I have gained from the campus and the memories it has given me will stay with me forever. It is indeed one of the top educational institutions of India, if you know how to utilize all the great facilities it offers. What I found is, if you are really interested in becoming someone, you can always choose Christ University, It'll give you a push in the right path. It all depends on how you make use of the opportunities before you. Either way, Christ is open to you. It welcomes you into its beautiful campus without any presumptuous notions on where you're from or who you were. Hence, it is a great place for me to make lifelong friendships. like I have.
