Remarks :

The environment is quite good. But if a student wants a modern Life the college is not suitable for that. The external facilities are less. Transportation is not good , but college provide college bus for easy transportation. Which is very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very nice. The academic is good. Exam has 2 parts. One is internal evaluation and the other is University exam. Both have a minimum criteria for passing. An average student can also pass the exam very easily.

Placement Experience :

In previous years the placement was excellent. The current year also the placement is going very well. Computer based companies provide more opportunities to the students for the job Like TCS , CTS etc.

College Events :

Onam celebration,Annual sports meet, Christmas celebration, Techno cultural fest, arts fest ,etc. The annual sports and arts fest are celebrating as the students are involved in each step. And also Tech fest is conducting very well.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. Because the merit students have only 35000 tuition fee per year. For management seat it is 65000. Hence in this time it is not a big amount or it is not expensive. There are some scholarships available for the merit students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

E grantz scholarship, Minority scholarship, Loan facility,etc are available. The scholarships are provided on the basis of merit. The students will get the scholarship if he/she is a merit student. Somany students have these scholarships.

Campus Life :

Excellent lab and other facilities. Annual sports and arts are conducting very well. But college have lack of playground for students. Other extra curricular activities are conducting very well. College has 2 NSS unit. That conducting somany extra curricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni is not going well. But some of the senior students will always help the college and students as they can. So the college is growing. Alumni doesn't not conducting any programs in college. But individual contribution of seniors is helpful.

Admission :

Through KEAM entrance exam. Admission is based on merit. I got the rank 23000 in KEAM, hence I am eligible for the merit seat. There is management seat as well as some NRI seat. We can apply for the college as our entrance rank.

Faculty :

Faculties are good. They will support and help us to grow up. They are qualified with good knowledge. But they have lack of knowledge in new technologies. They also help us in placement related works.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?.
