College review

Remarks :

Positives - very good college, amazing infrastructure, very healthy competition, very good exposure, very good placements. Negatives - discrimination amongst north and south Indians, lack of sexual openness (too many strict rules against couples even for a handshake or hug even tho being a co-ed), too much of crowd, no attention to academically weak students, and no mercy for them.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum out here is a bit harder than other colleges but academically this college is very good in terms of exposure and placements. Overall except for the expensive lifestyle of the college, most of the things out here are well enough.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities here are very good as compared to other Indian colleges, but given that the student is academically good in performance and knowledgeable. Yes the college provides internship opportunities through their mail system where children can apply and pass some coding rounds to get an internship. The stipend varies from company that comes for recruiting interns.

College Events :

There are 2 major fests in our college called 1)Gravitas & 2) Riviera. Gravitas is a Tech Fest where people showcase things and events related to technology like robot wars and various coding/tech-related events. Riviera is a cultural fest where we have 4 days of full fun and celebrities hosting stage performances and children having fun for all 4 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is very expensive if the child is an average performer, but for. an academically well-child the fee structure has heavy scholarship and Facilities for them. Also, the fees can be taken on a student loan. The fees vary from 2 lakhs p.a. to 8 lakhs p.a.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the top 100 rankers in the entrance exam, the college provides discounts in scholarship fees ranging from 25% discount to 100 % discount. Also, the college has tie-ups with some banks like Indian banks and some other banks from where you can apply for student loans.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities here are supported to some extent given that you are very good at that extracurricular activity and can give time both to academic as well as extracurricular. Also, mostly the academic background of the student is seen before getting him into extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, contact and acquaintance with seniors is very helpful in terms of sharing experience and getting to know about the college, also they are also academically helpful like in terms of providing question papers and notes for a subject.

Admission :

An entrance exam form is to be filled first after which an exam is needed to be attended. After the results are declared, ranks are allotted individually after which rank wise students are called to fill in seats according to their choice and then pay the fees and take admission.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is very good in terms of research and analysis and is highly knowledgeable, but on the other hand, most of the faculty here are south Indian people, which sometimes causes language problems and discrimination in classes. Also, they are moderate in teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was comprehensive and we have an option to choose free electives from other departments too. We would have 2 quizzes and one end semester exam in a semester and meanwhile assignments will be shared at regular intervals of time.
