Remarks :

The college does not extend much support in University related problems. For example the case in the revaluation of papers get often extended so far that after writing the supply mentary exam the marks if the previous one is announced.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum contains more theory topics rather than the practicals. Also we have a much expansive portion. Then exam are conducted both by the college as internal exam and by the university as semester exams.

Placement Experience :

The past year about 150 of our college students secured placements in various companies.Yes the college in association with intershala provides us opportunity for taking internship.Student teams attend various internships around Kerala.There was no stipend or less stipend the last internship we attended.

College Events :

As other colleges almost all celebrations are being conducted in our college.Like Onam, Christmas, diwali, Holi, id,muharam, then we have the techninal festival. We also got arts day celebration. Then we have Union inauguration.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is purely based on the marks secured in the entrance and the class 12. So according to the marks secured each student will have to pay a different amount of fee. Also the community quota gives a small fees reduction for the students belonging to Muslim community.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes there are many scholarships that are offered to meritorious students. But most are religion based ie for Christian's and Muslims only. Then for students who have secured very high marks in the previous exams.

Campus Life :

The labs are well equipped and give good facility for each student to attend the practical section very well. Other activities include Red cross society,National service scheme. The sports activities arent much supported by the college.

Hostel Facilities :

No I haven't opted for the college hostel facility as my home is around 20 kilometera away from the college. And the college procmvidea transportation facility. The college has college bua facility.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes there are many ways to interact with the alumni of the college. There are many who give constant support to take in the course forward without failure. They give good support in all cases,whether in accademics,placement.

Admission :

I attended the entrance test at my first chance.Then when the results came I had only 40k rank.So I didn't get an admission in a government college.But I got admission in the current college based on merit. My class 12 marks also was considered.

Faculty :

There are faculties who constantly provide strength and enthusiasm to take on this course much further.They provide good amount of strength which is a basic.Then immediate assistance during my class is available.

Placement Experience:

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
