I think I have written almost everything about DAIICT. So if you guys are looking to take admission in any branch at DAIICT, please take admission without any hesitation. DAIICT is very good institute. Hope I clear all your doubts. Have a good future at D

Entrance Preview :

GATE. I took admission because of many reason. First of all DAIICT is in Top 10 engineering colleges in India among private university. Apart from that I'm from Ahmedabad so its like home for me here in Gandhinagar.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically DAIICT is research based college rather than industry based. So if you are looking to make career in research than DAIICT is best college.

Internships Opportunities :

As I above mentioned that DAIICT is research centric college so there is no internship but there are many world class level companies visit for the placement including Google, Amazon, Oracle, Cognizant, Direct I etc.Stipend amount is less compared to other universities which is Rs. 8500.

Placement Experience :

As I mentioned above that placement record is very good at DAIICT. Many Giant companies like Google, Amzon, Oracle, Direct I, TCS etc visit here. The average package they offer is between 8 lac- 10 lac. Highest package this year offered is 25 lac.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Hostel is compulsory for all B.Tech Students. For PG courses hostel facility is available only for girls. However boys who are not from Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar are offered the accomodation as dormitory. The hostel facility is very good. Room is shared by 2 students. And they are 2 bed, 2 chair-table for study and each table having LAN connection for using Internet. PG service around the college is very good. You can take Flat of 2 bhk on rent for 6k-8.5k. Food service is canteen is very good. It take around Rs. 3000 per month for food.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I mention above that M.tech students get stipend of 8.5k and P.hd students get stipend of around 12-15k. DAIICT has tie-up with ICICI bank. So one can easily get education loan from the bank.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio of boys:girls is around 60:40 at DAIICT. Campus life as very cool at DAIICT. Saturday and Sunday there will be holiday so you can go around Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar to visit famous places. Many sports activites are there at DAIICT. There are 3 badminton court, 1 football ground, vollyball ground, cricket ground available in campus. There are many indoor games including carrom, chess and table tennis. There is debate club also to improve communication skill.

Alumni/Alumna :

My experience with seniors is very good. They are very co-operative. They conduct different session about campus orientation, Matlab session. They teach us in our exams time.

Faculty :

Faculties here are very co-operative and helpful.

Placement Experience:

For this course there is no placement facilities as placement already done while course admission. Package for L&T was 4.2 LPA in 2013. Out of 9 students 6 students were L&T sponsered. also other company gives sponsership like ESSAR had given 1 students in 2013-2015 batch. only 2 students had to find job form their own.

Life At IIT Gandhinagar

Placement Experience:

Around 80% of students got placed in my batch. The top recruiters include Goldman Sachs, HPCL, ITC, Adani, Infosys, KPIT, etc. The average package is around 21LPA. The highest package is 51LPA. The college makes us ready to face the industry through clubs, meets, and workshops.
