Remarks

The college is really good. Everything that makes a student is present in our college. However, I would have been better if our college participated more in extracurricular activities. The socialisation is weak.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think the curriculum is really vast and helps the individual to choose the field they would want to further pursue as a career. We are taught of mostly all branches of psychology. The practicals are quite hectic but very interesting.

Internships Opportunities

No. Our college does not provide an internship. However they always motivate the students to intern in their respective fields during vacations. The professors also help us look for places to intern in the near future.

Placement Experience

1.5

The college is very well reputed. I do not have much idea about the placements and job structure as I am a bachelor's student. However , I am sure if there are placements done through our college , it will definitely be good.

College Events

2

There are many events that take place in the college. There is college day , department freshers , department fests , college fests, diwali mela and many more. The participantion is good. The conferences that take place are really interesting and very good speakers are mostly invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure varies depending on the course. The fee structure also varies every year. however it's feasible for mostly all students. For students are also given scholarships if they cannot afford the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college does provide scholarships to economically disadvantaged class. They also provide laptops for studying. Such initiatives are really helpful for many students. A lot of them avail to scholarships. Some scholarships are also given based on the percentage of marks.

Campus Life

5

We have a bunch of sport activities and various societies in our college. But they are very time consuming Because of which there is not much participation. These practices take place mostly after college hours making it difficult for the faraway students. The college does not encourage must participantion like academics.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am not a hostel student. I live as a paying guest. However, my hostel friends are really happy with the hostel food and talks very highly of it. But the network is the hostel is really low and a lot of misplacement of things take place. The WiFi connection is poor. But the curfew time and the night outs are strict. The hostel is clean and the rooms are big and spacious.

Alumni/Alumna

We do have an alumni meet however not much help is given by the alumnus. We have to connect to them personally for any help. Not much help is given via college. Plus hardly any alumni visits the college after they graduate.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is good. We are given preparatory leave before our exams during which practical exams are being held. Mostly , we get a day to four days gap between each paper. The question papers are scoring.

Admission

I took admissions in the second cut off list. Within three days of the release of the cut off list, the student must take admissions. On the first day , I withdrew my admissions from another DU College and went straight to IPCW. I went to the department. Submitted my original documents and they asked me to make the payment online when the portal opens.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very helpful. The professors are like guides and friends who do not spoon feed but are always there for us. We are taught in great detail. The faculty is the college are well educated and experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
