Remarks :

It would give my college a positive remarks as till now i don't think i have faced any difficulties regarding studies,nor availability of any resources.only thing i don't really like is the canteen facility well,it's my personal review

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exam structure was pretty simple first i had to clear the NEET exams after my class 12 which was held in our states capital Gangtok and after i cleared the exam i got selected for state quota,Then we had a choice of selecting our desired courses and college and i choosed this college.

Placement Experience :

There are really good placements opportunities for the courses like Aeronautical engineering,Diploma,Mechanical engineering and BHM and various other courses too.Also for courses like B.sc Forestry and agriculture they provide internship.

College Events :

Various events and occasions are celebrated in our college like Freshers party which was recently held in 10th of oct and it was really good.Teachers day is celebrated in a grand way, various conference and events are also held every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure of our college is nearly same to other colleges but its is affordable because it is less comparing other fees which other colleges charges, our college only ask for the fees and other extra fees like donation fees are not required.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am so sorry but i don't know much about scholarship avail at our college since i have joined this college through my state scholarship so i can't say much about the scholarship available in our college.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities like sports meets and food feast are also held in our college,our college also have there own football team lead by our own classmates. Every department of our college have their own labs.

Hostel Facilities :

At the first year and second year of my session i have stayed in hostel and the fee structure of hostel is a little expensive but when we look at the infrastructure and facilities they provide in the hostel the fee seems fair.The facilities like laundry and wifi is also provided but you have to pay extra money for that but it is also not that expensive it's affordable.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

At first when i came to this college the super seniors of my department we really good and helpful in every way possible. They helped and motivated us in every way possible the use to held quiz competitions,debet and many more and they were always kind towards us.

Admission :

After completing class 12,I appeared for Neet exams and through which i got selected for our state government (sikkim) Quota in HRDD(Human resources and development department) and form that i choosed my current college for admissions.

Faculty :

The faculty of our college is good, They are really kind and good towards us.They know how to guide us well. Even during starting of my college session i didn't had any difficulty in interacting with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I talk about me. I don't like physics and chemistry so I choose maths. It is the best subject ever. Our university gives syllabus every semester. In bsc hons. Mathematics there are only subject related to maths. But apart from this we study some more subjects which are usefull for us in upcoming life.

6th sem onwards students become eligible for placements. Highest package alloted here was 84 lakhs to student who carried above 9 sgpa per semester.I'll get a govt job after completing my course and will give other competitive exams.

The only government college in Rishikesh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is simple, cheap, and widely known so it is the second choice for most science students that was the same with me too. The college has decent personnel but the students are a lot more compared to the teachers. The faculties are good. The semester exams are held every six months and the internal is held one month before the external exams. The exams are easy as you get two sections in the paper with each containing 8 questions from which you need to choose four from each section. You can pass the exams even if you study 2 days just before the exams.

Doon University placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in the 4th year of matters degree only. Mostly Indian companies come here like treats, Infosys, etc. But sometimes we also have Microsoft and other big companies. The highest package anyone has got was of about Rs.10,00,000 in 2017. The average package which people get is almost Rs.5,00,000. I plan to get a PhD. In statistical maths after completing masters.
