Remarks :

Positive remarks about college is that it is a good campus for each &every student who is interested in studying &participating in Extra curricular activities like cricket, football,dance,music, instruments and I would like to say that the college should try for bringing more core companies for placement in jcet campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is not giving importance to practicals according to our KTU university.The internals for practical has no meaning in engineering .& it is followed here.The semester consists of 6 months& of that all will end including SEM exaams.Totally the students are fed up of this.

Placement Experience :

Placement opportunities to core companies are poor.no company related to our field aren't coming here at campus.The companies which are hiring graduates are only communication companies only.It is only the responsibility of the student to get placed in core companies.

College Events :

The event celebrated are; 1 techfest 2.arts day 3.bloom 4.sportsday. The one of the major event celebrated in our campus is techfest&lasts about 2 days.Colorful memories are the feature of these days.In previous year our department has conducted a bikestunt by BMW motorrads from Kochi it is an awesome day in my life.Also Bloom is a major event where DJ party will be there at nights.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible.The fee structure is like any colleges in Kerala.But the miscellaneous fee are bit expensive.The placement fee cannot affordable to manyone.But the overall tuition fee is affordable to any merit student surely .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A good scholarship availed by college & faculties is Educate a kid scholarship.Also college is giving special scholarship for brilliant and middle-class students.The loan facility is always welcome in our college .They will provide&fasten the loan facility with immediate time.They are helpful a lot in scholarships&in arranging loans.

Campus Life :

Extra curricular activities are sports, department events,Arts, library,NSS .NSS is working energetically in our campus.sports day about 3 days are conducting to know skills of athletes&sportsman.Cricket selection, badminton selection & most promisingly Football section are happening there at campus without any fail.Library is occupied with about 5000 books.The Caffeteria is nice .

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrastructure is awesome.A room can be occupied by 3 students.Seperate beds are provided also study table.But the food is sometime boring .The hostel is occupied with good&rigid furnitures.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network are not working properly there at campus.The information about the network is not available actually for students & no one is sure about it actually.In my opinion they are not helpful in campus.

Admission :

I got admission to the college by writing KEAM exam.I got merit seat and there is AICTE fee wavier for meritorious students.I have paid only 1.25 lakh totally because of this for 4 years.I ranked 8175 in KEAM exam& got admission as a topper in the jcet college.

Faculty :

Facaulties of the college is of best knowledge &the behaviour is good .The teaching experience of the most of facaulties are good& understandable.The practical facaulties are most experienced persons who worked in dominant companies in India &also retired from Navy, air force ,army.& Joined the practical field.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
