Remarks :

SMIT even has a friendly environment. Everyone is supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We have 2 quizzes 2 sessionals and a semester exam in one semester it also includes assignment marks as well as marks for attendance. The exam structure is so far good. SMIT does not tolerate any malpractices. Here we have strict rules regarding the honesty of students during exam sessions.

Placement Experience :

Placement is quite good at SMIT. This year for MBA's ICICI bank is coming in advance to provide an internship that will provide us with jobs according to our performance.

College Events :

The main fest of our collage is Kaalrav. It is a 3-day event. We have DJ night, Mr and ms Athena, the battle of bands, etc. It is an event where other collages are also invited. Apart from Kaalrav, we have our department feasts. Athena is the management feast done by our management department.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For MBA course roughly 5.5 lakh is required but in SMIT, we have a system of a state quota, therefore, some concession is provided. For the ones who did BBA in SMIT if we score more than 80%, we get some concession too. I received the state quote, therefore, I had to pay 125000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Being a Sikkimese I got the opportunity to apply for Sikkim quota. Therefore roughly 75% concession on tuition fee was given.

Campus Life :

The campus life of SMIT is suitable for the ones who want a study type of environment. We have many fests like sports, culture, etc. We have a marina where people can go for swimming, table tennis, etc. We have a gym too available for fitness freaks. We have lovely gardens in SMIT.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are helpful. We even have alumni meet where they come for motivational speeches and encourage us.

Admission :

1st we had to sit for the college test. 2nd submission of all documents and drafts. 3rd all the health tests and other things to be completed. As I did my graduation from this college I was quite familiar with the environment so I had no trouble adjusting. Smit always heartily welcomes who wants to pursue knowledge. Everyone supports.

Faculty :

In my management department, everyone is very helpful we can talk normally with all the teachers. Even in case of any doubts, we allowed to call our teachers or visit there chamber for help in studies. They encourage us to build our interpersonal skills.

Review of SRM UNIVERSITY SIKKIM

Placement Experience:

About the campus placement they give us placement but not of huge packages. The salary package comes out around 2.50 LPA till 3.50 LPA. Just the chosen few get big packages. The highest package offered was around 10LPA. Most of the students here don't opt for placement as in Sikkim people believe that government jobs are better and choose to do government jobs instead of opting for placement from colleges.

SMIT, great campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good through SMIT. The last semester deals with the placements processes. Our campus has placed the student in company like "Google". Almost 70? of the students gets the placements. I have visited 2 big companies during my placement process.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester we become eligible for campus placement. Hdfc bank, Ramada hotel, Torrent, Sun pharma, lenskart are the few companies. The highest package was 100000 and the average package is 250000. Any students can get placement if they are smart enough but the minimum is 5 cgpa. After getting the degree , I'll go for interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

making the decision when you go to the higher class its very important to say that what specialisation is to be choosen and to complete the course in honrably. As i have choosen the MBA in HR eairler it was very difficult subject i have faced but i have work heard and form cooperation with the faculty i have do it well and i have realy enjoy the world of management The frequency and timing of the exams are very accordance with the curriculum / syllbus point of view . and there are 4 types of difficulty levels .

Sometimes only the company with vacant position available over sikkim comes for placement. So to get a job we need to prepare and struggle ourselves to get a well paying Job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBA HRM is a good start for a career student-faculty ratio is 60:2. Lecturers are well qualified, and subject notes and readers are sent by the University before the commencing of the semester. Exams will be conducted on alternate days. All the topics covered in the textbook can score a good grade.

A journey from being a reserved girl to a bold and successful lady.

Remarks:

Best University for those who gives priority for standard life and also they have efforts to have the strong academic. Which wouldn't have been possible if I was not supported by my family, completing studies while working is really a great independent path for one’s best career. A beautiful period of 3 years where I learnt new things at each and every moment which really helped to lead a successful HR. Many people have a mindset that distance education doesn’t value were you don’t have enough wisdom, but they are wrong you actually responsible for you studies were you’re a professor of your own through online classes, study materials and many more. A path which not only made me strong academically but also made me a standard person were I can easily deal with any situation.
