Course Curriculum Overview :

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) releases UPSEE syllabus for different subjects every year. The syllabus is released paper-wise on the official website of the exam. UPSEE syllabus is one of the major keys to success in the exam. The syllabus helps candidates get an idea about the subjects and topics from which questions are asked in exam. Knowing UPSEE syllabus beforehand also helps candidates start their preparation for UPSEE exam in a planned and strategic manner.

College Events :

Sphinx is a technical confluence of unparalleled technological events with participation from all across the country, wherein young minds engage in skirmishes to showcase their skills, gain a sense of competition, and bring out the best in themselves; a 3-day celebration of technology, where plentiful new ideas are born and thrive, where students learn, and are inspired to go above and beyond their assumed limits. After two fruitful editions, we feel immensely proud to announce that the institute will be hosting the triennial edition, Sphinx’19, from the 6th of November to the 8th of November, 2019.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible All the students / scholars (including HTTA/HTRA students / scholars) have to pay their semester fees directly through online as per PDF fee table applicable to the category of the students/scholars concerned. Dual degree students (2015 & earlier Batch) have to pay M.Tech fees from 9th semester onwards. Students/Scholars are permitted to pay the Institute fees in installments however full fees has to be paid on or before 30th September 2019. The last date for payment of Hostel Fees is 30th July 2019.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships introduced to us through college. Students receive various central & state government scholarships. Moreover, there are scholarships offered by alumni. Most of the students in our college receive a scholarship from some means. Scholarships are generally income based & fee waivers are caste based.

Hostel Facilities :

Comfortable accommodation is the key in any student’s life. Taking this into account,Nss offers well-built hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Boy’s hostel is located inside the campus and girls hostel in Yelahanka 4TH phase. Both the hostels are equipped with well ventilated, spacious and furnished rooms, along with in-house dining facilities. There are separate dining halls for international students where both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is served separately by the mess staff. The hostel menu is prepared by the student committee which ensures there is something for everyone.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Admission :

We should be in the merit list and there after there will be an induction program.Admissions will be made strictly on merit basis (Rank-wise) and counseling.The programme & campus will be awarded to the candidates on the basis of their rank and preference.Successful candidates will be called for the counseling in order of their rank based on aggregate score in All India Selection Test (AIST).

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
