Remarks :

Very nice college to study law. You get a lot of exposure. Being in university is other level experience. There are lot of committees in our college. Being a law college it does not need any lab. This is a part of panjab university and thus have lot of play grounds and a very good infrastructure. We have a moot court hall , which is essential for any law college. We have very well managed library and computer room. All and all great college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Syllabus is well defined and apt in three year both law and B.com subject go hand in hand and in 4th and 5th year only law is focused Current exam pattern is 80-20 80 for exam 10 for mid sem test 10 for preject

Placement Experience :

Yes, they do provide you opportunities to work under courts, NGOs, and law firms. But if you want to do internship under any court there is no stipend but if you work under any firm it depend upon their offer and it is mostly fair and satisfactory

College Events :

A lot of events are conducted in uils. Apart from law related events including mooting , alternate dispute resolution, client counselling , our college also conducts seminars in general and also with more emphasises on call papers. Uils has its own cultural fest, sports fest, and law fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

A person need to pay around 1 lakh rs a year. This much amount is big and seems not feasible but it do have many scholarship plans. One can avail scholarship. But being the reputed law college and with good infrastructure and faculty this seems apt.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In uils, there are many scholarships and fees concession plans. One can avail them if he she belongs to sc or st or to economic weaker section. I belong to EWS thus availing this scholarship. They also have scholarship on merit basis.

Campus Life :

There are lot of committees in our college. Being a law college it does not need any lab. This is a part of panjab university and thus have lot of play grounds and a very good infrastructure. Alumni/Alumna :

Yes , being a law college it has a very wide and influencial network. This uils has lot of judges as alumni. There is no ragging and in fact there is very friendly environment and with very helpful crowd. University elections are there, which makes it more friendly

Admission :

Step 1.pu law exam. A very basic exam including gk, logical reasoning, english and legal questions with no negative marking Step 2.merit list will be made including 50 percentage weightage of 12th marks and 50 that of exam Step 3.counselling Stem4.welcome to uils

Faculty :

Faculty is really good. There are lot of senior teacher with good experience and exposure. They are perfect and have good knowledge regarding law and law stuff.But there is also many guest teachers though bit experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the courses is very well created, although the difficulty level is more. The curriculum also needs major upgradations with time including AI tools, proper use of technology with E-books in classrooms, proper usage of online teaching aid and study material. Softwares for plagiarism check and research resources are much needed. Also there's evolution coming in skill development courses with increasing seminars and guest lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As law is all about practical knowledge and is based on reason i think the curriculum includes all the aspects that are required for the real world advocacy. We are taught with every act and law and presentations are held for practical application of the law. Every subject be it contract, torts, BNS, BNSS, International law, Jurisprudence all are very important. Exams are held after every 5-6 months/ every semester and usually there is a gap of a day or two between each exam.

Remarks:

There is no any negative thing. Some students tells that attendence is negative point here at leat 75 percent attendance is compulsory but they students who tell that is a negative thing can they tell me if the issues of attendance is not here and attendance is not compulsory they how many students came for classes. And the university provides you better opportunity to placement then if have to follow the Corum of the university and follow rule and regulations.

I cleared the OCET exam for law entrance. I scored 101 marks in total and secured 75 rank overall. I always wanted to do an LLB degree because it enhances your knowledge.
