Remarks :

Best thing is the college runs for more than 25 years. And the worst thing is the college still maintains the old infrastructure when compared to any other medical colleges. But still they provide all the latest equipments with 24/7 ambulance services.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is about 4 and half years. 4 years studies with 6 months internship. Exam will be held only once a year at the month of August. Passing the exam will promote us to next year. The current course curriculum is the best wich allows us to learn more about dentistry in theory as well practical analysis.

Placement Experience :

Basically no medical or dental colleges provide placements, but the respect for the degree certificate will fetch you job in corporate sectors lik apollo, global hospitals. Yes, the college provides internship for a period of 6 months.

College Events :

The college wil celebrate all the festives without any cultural difference. Christmas, diwali, pongal, apart from this Holi everything will be celebrated in a good manner. By this we can fetch more knowledge about the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee s feasible. It is around 1.5L per year. With additional instruments charges. Spectrometer, stethoscopes, other dental equipments will be provided by the college itself. No fee for the last 6 months internship.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college doesn't provide loan facilities, but with private banks like axis, ICICI we can avail loans right from beginning of the year. If a student secure the top most score among all other colleges in tamilnadu, management will encourage the student with scholarships upto 50% per year.

Campus Life :

Every year college conducts cultural program and a scientific event. The event consists of dance, literary programs, scientific events, quiz competitions etc. For every single even there will a winner, and a runner up. Students will also get a participation certificate. Winners will be honoured with trophy.

Hostel Facilities :

I'm not in a hostel. But the hostel quality is quite better. Bit to the expectations. But ok. Students can live and have a safe life with a good food and caring hostel Warden. 24/7 hostel current and Warter facilities will be provided.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are the most friendly people a student could ever get. They will guide us throughout the academic year as well as in the practical classes. During exam times they will help us learn things more quickly as well with lot more informations

Admission :

I got seat via tnmgr univresity counseling process with my 12th public marks. Seats are alloted based on the caste reservation system. Councillors wil conduct based on the top scores secured by students throughout the state.

Faculty :

The best staffs ever you'll find in any other colleges. Staffs teach more beyond the syllabus and helps us to gain knowledge. We can contact them for any further information, they ll clarify anything at anytime without any hesitation.

The truth and transparency

Course Curriculum Overview:

The dental prosthesis making and the work by itself is very exciting... the theory part is also vey interesting and helps us study more. I wish there would be more practical earning in the theory park like when studying about an instrument.

Honest Review of BDS in Chennai

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course on the basis of handwork and aesthetic purposes. But I mainly chose the degree due to its flexibility and the ability to focus on other hobbies too. The curriculum mainly revolves around communication and handwork. It helps one to gain the courage to approach people but also teaches patience to deal with hardships. Improvements : Tests can be made more of mcq forms and teaching can be more improved . It still is like a conservative teaching. Example : Involve more case study based questions. Frequency of exams is very decent and it doesn't cause much of a stress . But the pattern of exam is not good

Dental school - a complete view

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum a 8/10 for sure. The curriculum definitely prepares you for the real world, you'll have four years of study and you'll cover few medical subjects too. The timing of the exams will be 3 hrs and it is not difficult.

In my college the faculty are superb they teaching skill are good and student ratio are bit high in my college all my faculty are MD graduate. My final exam was once in a year and it was moderate to pass if we study regularly it was very easy to get pass marks.

A journey worth sharing

Remarks:

The college has been working well in producing efficient dentists. It has managed to inculcate social responsibility as well amongst the students. It has a great campus life and the students are valued irrespective of their caste, creed, religion etc.

Admission:

The admission form can be filled online or offline as per your convenience. The college accepts NEET-UG marks for the admission. It is followed by the medical counselling done by medical committee of India.
