Remarks :

Our management should be improved! They should provide the necessary requirements for the money they get from us. Other than this everything is positive from my college. Transportation and food can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course and curriculum are fair. According to me, master shouldn't be very much easy. when we make the curriculum tougher we will make good results. The exam structure is that the course is 3 years. 1st year we will give exams in the basic papers and we will give final exams on 3rd year only. It has 3 papers but in 1st year just one paper.

Placement Experience :

After finishing my post-graduation I can join as a lecturer in the same college or I can practice dentistry by having my own clinic. in my college, there are no Internship programs for postgraduates. there is no stipend too since it's government-aided.

College Events :

My college celebrates student cultural events which include sports dance and fine arts and we also celebrate regional festivals which include Pongal Deepavali. The college usually gives the freedom in the time of culture. Faculty participations are way more too good.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is usually decided by the management. management decides everything and according to me even if the seats are expensive it's okay if they give us all the facilities that they get for the money. it is not feasible according to me for my department specialty.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since it's govt aided the scholarship program is nothing great. I get the seats according to my category. if I am backward category I have more seats in the counseling and I study by paying less. But if I am in a higher category I would have to pay more and my seats aren't more. I just have fewer seats.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are good. Since the activities are conducted by the students. Management supports. As I said earlier Tthey maintained by the college is very poor. They should improve all the facilities for the extracurricular activities like making way for grounds basketball courts and all the stuff.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I have not opted for a hostel. but the people who are in my college hostel don't like the hostel. The maintenance is very bad. food is good. The rooms are small and the buildings are old. It is necessary that should be very cautious about doing anything.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the alumni network is good. they conduct an alumni meet which will be good and also they provide us with the necessary facilities. they book halls for us specially and they make us relive our old college days.

Admission :

I have done my bds and so in order to pursue in my field, I cleared neet and got the seat through counseling. Initially, I studied for 1 year and gave my exams, my exams were a little bit tough in spite of all odds I cleared my exam. For my category, I should have at least 300 marks. But I got more than 350 and also got a good decent rank. then attended state counseling. Initially got a government seat but missed it just by one mark and got a government-aided seat in ragas dental college and hospital.

Faculty :

The faculties are good. But the faculty should treat a postgraduate like a postgraduate. since I have completed a BDS degree I am already a doctor so it is necessary that I should be valued and regarded as a doctor rather than a school student! And also faculty politics are way eating our brains because we are the ones who are stuck in between.

Admission:

I got admission in the college on the basis of my marks in NEET PG. The eligibilty criteria was BDS from a recognised university. After graduation, a masters degree was always my first choice and hence this course.

Honestly I didn? pay much attention to the placements as I had already decided to work under the supervision of parents in their private clinic in my hometown. The college has a good placement record.
