Remarks :

Overall the college is good and has a decent campus life. The only place where the college lacks is the absence of some open space which some or the other way hampers the well being of the students in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. So the college follows the curriculum and syllabus prescribed by the university. The syllabus is good overall and gets updated in a course of 4-5 years. There are 4 internal examination conducted, 1in each month.

Placement Experience :

The placement record of non core branches like CSE, IT, ECE are good. The placement for core branches like EE, ME, CE are not very great in context to their placement in their core companies. College allows you to attend internships during the semester breaks and many students have even landed in a job by working as an intern for various companies including names like INTEL, INFORMATICA, etc.

College Events :

The college hosts 4 official big events namely ARAMBH which is the fresher's party for the incoming first year students. Secondly TECHXTRA which is the intra college tech fest. Thirdly PARIDHI which is the inter college tech fest and is one of the most renound event in Kolkata. Lastly the college hosts the inter college cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The college belongs to the Techno India group of colleges and has a fixed fee for all the colleges under the group. In context of the location the fee is not that high and is feasible. The college also accepts various scholarships and tuition fee waiver scheme for its students. The Btech fee varies between 39k to 41k for 8 semsesters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college also accepts various scholarships and tuition fee waiver scheme for its students. The students can seek loan from any nationalised bank and the college will recognize it. College accepts various private, national, state scholarship schemes that can be availed by the students.

Campus Life :

The overall infrastructure is up to the mark but the college lacks in some open space for recreational purposes. The college is equiped with all sort of labs, machinery and equipments required in various courses. The college also has an common room for the students for recreational purposes.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is very strong. Many of the alumni still visit the college during various alumni meets or various other events. The college hosts alumni meets for all departments separately. The senior are very helpful and also help there is no scene for ragging in the campus.

Admission :

You can get direct admission through management quota or via entrance exams like WBJEE, JLET, JEE Mains. After the college based on your rank there will a online counseling where you have to fill the list of colleges. There is 3 rounds of counseling, after each round you are allotted a college. You can block the seat or move to next round round of counseling.

Faculty :

Overall the faculties are good. There are some faculties that lack on experience but most of them are well experienced. The HODs of all the departments have over 15 years of teaching experience. The director of the college has over 25 years of teaching experience and has served as principal and director in a fair amount of colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion, I'll give 3 rates of the course curriculum because what our course they don't provide that including internship. If they don't provide this course well , we can learn from YouTube, but we need internship most.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technology has covered every sphere of life and for adopting some amazing technologies i choose to do this course to learn something outstanding and to dive deeper in the world of computers and machines. The curriculum can prepare you for the real world if you pay attention to your classes and studies you have to gain knowledge and always learn new skills to get into the job force.The course curriculum was good but the teaching methods can be improved.The exams were held twice a year one in November-December and the other in April-May. The exams were not very difficult to pass.

There are no available campus Placements but off-campus placement is maitained by the college authorities in the college previous students groups. A student can eligible for off campus placement after complete their 6th semester exam /full degree. Overall I had a great experience which helped me to be industry ready.

The placements are very good and even during these COVID times, various renowned companies visited our campus like Capgemini, Hexaware, Wipro, Infosys, CTC. The average salary offered was 3 LPA. The college was very supportive throughout the placement process and conducted various trainings to brush up our technical and aptitude skills.

Remarks:

GOOD DISCIPLINE: This is the most disciplined college in Barasat ever I seen. I always want a college which is very strict about discipline and punctuality. I got the college. LOW FEES: The total tuition fees of the course is just 14000 including semester exam fees and other fees and also study materials. It is very affordable fees for my parents. IN THE GREEN: Acutally I like green. The campus is very green full of trees. The college held in suburban side of the Kolkata - Barasat-Barrackpore Road. But communication is very cheap just 8 rupees needed for go through Barrackpore to Kingston.

Remarks:

I was really interest in computers since standard 11 as my computer marks were always good and up to my expectations so I decided to take computer application as my bachelor degree . Elders and also my teachers suggested me that Kolkata got a very good college or computer application . I wanted to do computer engineering but since I didn’t take up maths as my 11th and 12th I wasn’t able to select computer engineering so I opted for BCA in The Heritage Academy . I came to know that placement in my college is quite good as few well known companies come to provide us with the placement for example : Deloitte , Wipro , Amazon etc . And since Kolkata is quite near to my place I finally decided to study there in Kolkata in The Heritage Academy.

Placement Experience:

There campus is awesome, there is 94% placement scenario. Around every IT company use to come for placements like Infosys, TCS,Wipro etc. . There average package is also good it is around 15k-20k.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It contain all such subject in which I was best. Practical are given much importance because it has practical learning approach. Our placement training is given as a game.
