Course Curriculum Overview :

The courses in my college are quite flexible at times but can be burdensome sometimes. In each semester we have 2 exams. One in the midsemester termed as midsemester exams and other one at the end called endsemester exams.15 days before each exams we also have to take test or quiz in each subject. So overall, we get a good hold of the concepts before taking the exams.

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good here. As far as I know. Being a second year I really don't know what goes under the hood. But I do know that placement season is quite hectic and depressing for some but the outcome is very good. One of the best outcomes is the CEO of your company Sundar pichai.Though he wasn't directly placed but as I said the outcomes.

College Events :

My college has a very celebrated culture. We have 2 festivals in our college. One is cultural fest- "Spring fest" and the other is technical fest -"Kshitiz". Both of these events are full of fun. The former fest- Spring fest, marks days of absolute ecstasy, providing the budding artists a competing platform in diverse fields such as music, dance, theatre, fashion, photography, literature, fine arts, quizzing and debating.Spring Fest is an avenue to be comforted from the routine life and to embrace the fun and frolic embedded with tantalizing professional performances from India and abroad along with an addressal to the social responsibility with its underlying social theme. The later one- Kshitij is the annual techno-management fest of IIT Kharagpur, one of India's premier technical institutions. Started in 2004, Kshitij was conceived with the aim to provide the technically inclined youth a national-level platform, where their talent and expertise would be recognized and rewarded.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is just like any other typical private engineering college in India. But in comparison to what college spends on you and what would we the outcome your tenure it is pretty statisfying and agree able.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Being a government college, it providies a lot of scholarships to budding technical stars in our college.Everyone now or then there is my competition which is bags the price money as a scholarships. Some of these scholarships include facilitating students to go abroad and study. But these are mostly restricted to students with high CGPA(cumulative grade point average). Till now I havent recieved a scholarship. But I really hope that one day I would recieve a scholarship to go abroad and study.

Campus Life :

Here , you can play anything to everything. Most of the people are involved in sports and games. Many acitives keeps going in the college from time to time. People here are usually either busy in extra academics activites or academics. As far as labs are concerned, my college has setput my labs in the different departments of engineering. All labs are well furnished and are most updated with latest technology with help of huge government funding. For example in my departments itself there is more than 5 labs- welding lab, ship hydrostatics testing, ship stability testing, propulsion resistance, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

I stay at hostel named Rajendra Prasad hall of residence in short RPhall. This was the first hall constructed way back in 1952. It has a hige almuni base of its own and has very cherishing legacy. We have my cultural events like Aavhan of our own hall and my sports invents in our own hostle among the boarders.Hostel infrastructure is at par. But facilities provided are good and hygenic.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is very huge. As this is the oldest IIT of our country started way back in 1952 and has been producing some of the best technical savvy graduates who are making a lot of success in thier life. They have been working in different parts of the world making it a huge network base of thier alma mater. One of the most prominent example is the CEO of your company Sundar pichai is the alumnus of my college IITKGP.

Admission :

I strated preparing for IITJEE from class 11th onwards and after preparing till 12th. I gave the exam but couldn't clear it due to lack of knowledge. Unfortunately I had one more attempt that I can give the following year of class 12th. I prepared for one more year and finally cracked IITJEE with flying colours.

Faculty :

Most of the faculties here have completed their graduation from renowned universities of the world. Most of the professors here are very hardworking and make every extra effort to make the concepts clear to their students. They are very helpful and approachable. They provide thier email id at the very beginning of the semesters so that the students can reach to them at for any doubts clearance. However this only extends to my onw personal experience which I have gained upto 2nd year of my study. Really hope to see the consistance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.
