Remarks :

Nothing positive to add and there is a big negative list. All the negatives are mentioned in the above filled fields.

Course Curriculum Overview :

College is affiliated to MG University. The exams and results weren't proper and teaching and guidance was not up to the mark. Marks were not awarded based on the content or points. It was the quantity, big diagrams and huge paragraphs that fetched marks and not the relevant points and answers.

Placement Experience :

College doesn't provide any internships. A few placements are happening all of the companies being start ups paying less than 12k per month. Not even a single tier 1 or tier 2 company has approached the college or placing any of the students.

College Events :

No co curricular activities. Studies Studies and only Studies. Nothing more to comment on this. Importance is provided only for academics and sadly the quality of education is extremely poor. Providing some co curricular activities would definitely encourage the students over there.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Total course costs around 5 lakh Indian rupees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No scholarships as such to my knowledge.

Campus Life :

No extra curricular activities. Only Studies.

Hostel Facilities :

No. I have not opted and thereby I am not having a 200 character para to add.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

No help from the alumni. Some of the seniors where helpful.

Admission :

Management seat. Nothing to describe on this. They college management will be demanding a particular amount for admission, if that is paid they will provide the admission or else they will ask to leave.

Faculty :

Very poor faculty. Its a kind of army school and each and every bit of freedom is restricted. Almost 90% of teachers are MTech graduates who are not at all experienced in teaching. Thr quality of teaching and attitude towards the students was extremely poor mainly due to this reason.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
