Remarks :

Mangalam college is one of the best college in Kottayam district. Fully a green campus in acres and theatre like class room structures. They provides most efficient education to students. Good managing system.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Civil engineering is one of the best course in engineering. The college have most efficient professors and assistant professors. Also the have good qualities of lab equipments and technicians. We had monthly exams. and 2 series exams at a semester. All semesters consist of seminar and assignments. Taken by each students. It improves students knowledge and communication skills. And college have a good library.

Placement Experience :

College have a best placement cell. And it has a coordinator and staff in charge. Every year students get job opportunities in different companies. Every branch has a placement group. After the graduation year the extra students get the job notifications. Each course provide internship. Every students must attend the internship. College provide lots of companies and visiting chance, to study about the future related things. Also students have social services. We done our social services in two places of Kottayam. And internships in five companies.

College Events :

Every year college conducts a technical fest. It improves the technical skills of the students. Also conducts a art festival. In tech fest students represent their own creative ideas. And most efficient idea gets prizes in each branch. And a auto model show by mechanical department. College celebrates every calendar events like Holi onam Christmas etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee related to the Kerala engineering fee structure. Also college provides scholarships to students. Fee is feasible. College have different types of scholarships they adopted by filtration of students. According to the mark and previous marks of the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College provide good scholarships to brilliant students. Who show their academic brilliance in cariculam exams. College have an own bank and they providing loans to students. The bank working at the college campus.

Campus Life :

College provides good qualities of lab equipments and efficient lab technicians. Every week have two lab days. Every year college conducts a sports day and winners get the opportunity to participate in University sports fest.

Hostel Facilities :

Boys and girls have different hostels. The hostel is good in service. Provides good qualities of food. Good warden. And a security. Some professors stay in hostels to care students in study times. Morning 7, 9, noon 1, evening 4 and night 8 is the food providing times.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Every year alumni students conducts a ceremony to rejoin on college theatre. They have good discussions about the college and things. They very much helpful for the students. And they get a beautiful opportunities.

Admission :

I had got my seat in civil engineering seat through Kerala entrance examination allotment of 2013. After the filtration of our exam score they sorted students. That was the second allotment. In first I got Basilious college.

Faculty :

College have brilliant faculties in all branches. Most of them completed their course from national institutes and most of them University rank holders. They have a best class. Required topics we're done by presentation. The monthly exam results will be published within the next week. They have an extra care on each students. Required students will get extra classes in the evening and weekends.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
